The Tijuana Sightseeing tour from San Diego was great. Our tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and had a passion for what he was doing. There were eight of us on this particular tour and from start to finish, all of us felt safe and knew that we were in good hands in regards to what's happening in Mexico. We shopped and afterwards left with the experience of being in Mexico. As we were leaving the city a guitar player entered the bus and performed four songs for us in Spanish no less. Good times...
Our guide, Greg, was knowledgeable, funny and helpful.
His knowledge and experience assured us this trip would be great; and it was. It was an interesting trip into Tijuana and getting to drive through town a little on the way to our destination was a treat. You are dropped into a very touristy area. Take the time to walk all 10 blocks. The shopping is nice, the food is authentic.
Again, Greg was helpful when it came to leave. He thoroughly explained how customs works. Using this tour was the best way to experience a day trip to Tijuana.
An excellent tour and one of the few tours left going from SD to TJ. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The tour delivers what was promised and then some, but of it's impossible too much in only one afternoon.
it was a nice experience our driver Mike was very nice and drove us around Tijuana
Our guide was excellent, super friendly, helpful and informational. Hats off to the work he does.
Great śervicė nice to have smaller bus with only dozen people to go with on day tour guild made you feeĺ çomfortable and safe and explained everthing well.
Good bunch of people to travel with from all over.
Tijuana a eye opèner but awesume experience a must to see and ďo
The tour was fine and a good price- the driver was pretty nice but would have expected him to be a bit better groomed and look more professional
Driver was nice and humorous ,also dropped us of at our hotel afterwards. Tijuana is Tijuana.
The tour was ok but it was more geared to shopping than I am. There was some narration as we headed to the tourist street but then we were basically let out of the bus for two hours to walk the street and every merchant and hustler knew we were there and were approaching us. I had never been to Mexico before so I didn't know what to expect. Next time I will make sure I book a more cultural tour to other parts of the country.
The bulk of the day trip was travelling. We only ended up having about 1.5 hours for sightseeing. The main attraction for me were the cheap tacos. The souvenirs being sold were nothing to shout about. It's just the sort of trip worth doing once and just once.
Although everything regarding the reservation and Viator service was perfect, the pick up was on time and the trip was ok. In the bus there was very little information about the trip and detail of Tijuana City or any other historical data. After being in Tijuana City I will not go back again and neither recommend to any of my friends.
I was disappointed by this trip. It is overpriced, and the wait time at the border is almost a long as the trip itself. I would recommend adding a cultural component by partnering with the Tijuana cultural centre and cultural heritage preservation community stakeholders. I would strongly recommend the formula is changed to include sightseeing and scenic routes. More importantly, you can't contnue much longer to offer a tour that includes a 3-hour wait to cross the border. Again, partnering with a local organization to offer value-added activities and obtaining fast track border access should become a standard practice if you want your organization to be viable and credible.
