Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the 2-Day Yosemite National Park Tour from San Francisco. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Andrew Jones was the guide and did an excellent job. Two days allowed us to see views from all areas of the park and spend time hiking trails. The Cedar Lodge was not fancy, but very clean, plus had 2 swimming pools and access to the river right across the road.
Our family of 4 did this trip August 8 and 9 during our recent trip to San Francisco - it was FANTASTIC - would highly recommend it and many thanks to our awesome driver and guide Heather!
Great way to see sights of Yosemite. Perhaps had too long in Valley which was very busy and commercial.
This trip was amazing. It took in all the highlights and didn't feel rushed. The accommodation was good too.
Our guide Jayson was both friendly and very Knowledgeable on the area. Would highly recommend this to anyone.
One day would not allow you to see enough
Free of hassles trip, we would not be able to see and do as much as we did if we to drive to Yosemite ourselves. Heather our driver/guide is friendly without being intrusive. Highly recommended this tour, worth every penny. One minor thing if there is any, is the hybrid van was not powerful enough to climb up the hills with the airconditioning on. It was a bit uncomfortable when the temperature close to 100F. All in all, this tour was the highlight of our US trips.
Had an absolute ball - trip leader fab! Screwy stunning and hiking so much fun.
Brilliant. Well worth every penny! Our guide (Tom) was very knowledgable. The lodge was nice and it was a great experience!
The highlight of my vacation. We were only 7 people in the van and our guide was the best! I highly recommend this tour!
Amazing place... wear hiking shoes and take proper clothing to really enjoy what this park has to offer. The scenery is breathtaking... you won't be disappointed! Would recommend you stay at least one night as it takes about 3 hours from San Fran to Yosemite. When I go back will stay for a week and go out overnight on some of the hikes.. a truly spectacular place to spend time.....
Was great 2 go with "Incredible adventurs", and the guide Thom 2 a 2 day in Yosemite through Viator. Van with 13 pasangers, more personal then Grey line buses i went as well (3 tours: Carmel/Monterey, Muir wood/Soselito and The Sonoma/Napa valies). Also the guide is better. If i knew before i would all the tours with Incredible Adventures. Thom enabeled each of the traveler 2 do activity suited his/hers capabilities.
Fantastic trip to Yosemite! Ontime pickup at our hotel, excellent guide (Tom) who explained the itinerary and told great stories, stopped for fresh fruits and goodies, made plenty of potty stops, bought breakfast one day and lunch(!) the second, and drove well and safely on some very scary hairpin roads. Great high country tour, Tom knew where and when to avoid crowds, great photo-ops and very accomodating to the the "senior" passengers (us) who could not tackle the rock climbing. Cedar Lodge was just fine, large clean rooms, great bar and grill. My only negative comment concerns the springs (or lack thereof) on the van - we sat right over the wheels (someone had to) and felt every bump. But all in all it was a wonderful trip that we would not have missed. I definitely will book with Viator again - it was worth every cent. Also met a wonderful group of bus-buddies from all over the world. Thank you, Viator!
This was a great way to see the park and avoid the parking/driving congestion. It was a good balance of free time to explore and guided activity.
Well organised, extremely knowledgable guide. Great scenery but the sheer numbers of people there each day make the possibilities of any wildlife viewing very limited when roads are closed due to weather conditions.
Absolutely outstanding. The guide knew his stuff and put in far more than required. We didn't have dinner until 9pm because he took us to see much more than we had planned, which was brilliant. On the second day, didn't get back to SF until about 10pm for the same reason. The accommodation was wonderful as well - very comfortable. There were things to choose from and the guide included us decisions on things to do - there were 7 in total and we were able to help tailor the trip to all of our needs and wants. Highly recommend this trip.
The trip was great. The guide was very friendly and really knew what they were talking about. I had a great time.
Simply stunning. Yosemite is a must see, and this is definitely the right tour to go on. Lots of fun, informative and extremely accommodating. In such a short time, it covers all the major sights in the park. I've done loads of tours, this was the best by a long shot. Do it, do it, do it!
This trip was fantastic and excellent value. The pick up from the hotel was on time and everything operated really efficiently. Our guide was excellent and lots of fun. The hotel we stayed at in the park was more than adequate and we were blessed with good weather for spring and a nice group. I definitely would like to return and do a camping trip to get a different type of experience.
Very small group, absolutely great for people who usually prefer individual trips, flexible time schedule, very nice tour guide.
Super guide. Very comfortable hotel and a very extensive trip round the park.
Our guide was patient with our abilities. He gave us plenty of time to stop and rest as we climbed the trail the first day. There was time to do our own thing on the second day. The sights were beautiful and we truly enjoyed the other family that was with us. It was great! The only thing that I would suggest is that there be a first aid kit available as I took a fall on the trail and there was no kit available.

Firstly, I'd like to say that Viator is a trusted site. I only chanced upon your site through the internet search. Your responsiveness to my queries is commendable! Secondly, both the tour companies were simply great!
Well, for the Yosemite Tour, we were very fortunate to have our guide throughout. He was simply fantastic! He showed and recommended beautiful views. If not for his enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge, we believe we would not have truly appreciated the inner beauty of the Park. To sum it up, we had a very memorable trip to Yosemite Park.
Excellent tour with a very good guide/driver. Journey from San Francisco is rather long but there are stops on the way. The area and sights in the park are exceptional. Cedar Lodge hotel is basic but clean.
This is a great trip to see Yosemite. The minibus is a 13 passenger van. The seats are a little tight though. Not as comfortable as a bigger bus however a smaller group is preferable. Our guide Mitch was very knowledgeable and kept us on the go. There is a lot of walking, hiking involved on this trip so it is not for anyone with physical limitations. You do however get to see a great deal of the park. The one negative was booking and paying for a room overnight at Yosemite Falls -the National Park Lodge which is beautiful. It felt like a bait and switch. After a few days they refunded me a little money and told me a room was not available there and we would be rooming at Cedar Lodge instead. They should not have presented it up front as available. You really want to stay at the lodge. Much better spot and you get more time there instead of driving an extra 45 mins. to Cedar Lodge and then back in the morning. A few people in our group managed to get a room at the Park and they had more time there. You can check daily to see if a room is available on trip advisor because people do cancel.
OUR guests enjoyed the tour.
They've appreciated Brian ' s expertise.
