Alcatraz is fantastic but make your own way there and back. We waited an hour after the alloted collection time and then the coach never even bothered to show to take us back to hotel.

This was a great trip - very informative. The tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. He could answer all questions. The tour is well worth the time, and you get to see all the points of interest (weather permitting - fog came in as we got to the bridge). All in all, a good tour.

Thought the service was good, all points worth seeing though rather too long a stay at some points and not long enough at others. Alcatraz is one of the best tours I have ever done with an excellent audio tour. San Fransisco is a lovely place to see and this is an easy way of seeing the highlights.

The three and a half hours for the city tour was not sufficient. Other than that it was great.

Our only challenge was finding the office of the tour company each time we called the number on our confirmation, we were told the intersection only. We looked high and low for a Viator office at the specified location. It wasn't until our 4th inquiry that we were told that Viator was the web name but the name on the retail storefront was completely different. The day trip started with the bus tour - good guide, lots of room on the bus, plenty of stops. Then straight to the dock for the Alcatraz tour which was really entertaining. We then proceeded on our own to view the sea lions, as per our bus guide's recommendation. They were so entertaining! Our group of 6 really enjoyed the entire day and would recommend it to one and all. Be aware that you should be in good shape to go to Alcatraz hills and stairs aplenty. Oh, and the 'temporary' toilet facilities at the Alcatraz dock are a 10 much cleaner, better designed and better maintained than the facilities in the Cheesecake Factory in Macy's Union Square.

After a very early morning arrival at our hotel that went wrong in spectacular style, we arrived for the tour bleary-eyed. We have to say, though, that the tour driver was in excellent form and full of wit which made for a very pleasant tour of San Francisco and Alcatraz. The Views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Twin Peaks was enough to take one's breath away. The tour was one of the best we had been on during our vacation, and we would recommend this company without question. Thanks for a special tour.

The city tour was fabulous, and it was our guide who made it so enjoyable, but I would have liked longer at Alcatraz. I definitely recommend going on this tour.

Enjoyed the tour but felt it could have been better if they had actually taken us over the Golden Gate bridge instead of just up to it and having a short break there. The bus was comfortable but we had to sit at the opposite end of the bus from the rest of our party, which spoilt it for us. The bus was a bit late in picking us up from our accommodation which had us concerned. However, it was a good way to see a bit of San Francisco when not there for too long.
