These cars were a great way to get about and also explain differant parts of the city as we had never been there before
We had an awesome time on this - what a fantastic way to see San Fran! Loved every second... The only hiccup is that there are 2 locations where you can pick this up from. The voucher you recieve has both locations so you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right! Voucher should state the actual location not both so you might want to call the hire place before heading off!!
Absolutly fanstatic. From start to finish a great way to have fun while seeing the sights. Customer service was top class, well done Topher. (you deserve a payrise) :)
Simply an unbelievable was to see San Francisco. The main thing is these cars are a world of fun but on this trip you will see parts of the city you wouldn't otherwise get to see or even know about. I would advise that if you want to see all of San Francisco you need to go for the all day option. Even the 2 1/2 hour hire is only just enough to get you from Fisherman's Wharf to the Golden Gate and back if you wish to stop and take photos. The GPS guide is fun and informative without being over the top and as far as value for money goes this trip represents outstanding value. If you're in San Francisco this really is a must do activity.
My girlfriend and I were only in the city for a day and so were pushed for time. We decided that the only way to see the city's sights and at our own pace was with this company. We had seen these fun little cars all over the city in the morning and decided to head on down and have a go. It was the best decision we could have made. After a safety briefing, we were shown our great little vehicle. My girlfriend had a few questions, which were answered very professionally. Then we were off! It's great to be able to go where you want to go, no other tour could offer this, except the bicycle one, and who wants to cycle up those hills! The GPS is fantastic, and we chose to stop off a few times to take photos and have a coffee. All in all, a great way to see the city. Ignore the bad posts from some of the earlier visitors, check this out and you will have made the right decision. Enjoy!

This was a great way to see San Francisco. Definitely reccommend it. Only thing i do say to customers is that, the voucher clearly states that the CDW insurance is already included in the price, but at the office they seem to think that it isn't. We had to argue this point with them.. after they had lost our papers and contract at the end of the day. Call beforehand, as when we got to one pickup point we were then moved to another. They covered the taxi cost, but at the other location, they were hesitant until we pushed them for it. The price when you get there also doesn't include taxes (which on their system is written as Carbon Offset Fee??).
great fun. Recommended even though first car had faulty GPS system. Spent all day using car and enjoyed San Fran sights. Weather was great which made car more fun -not sure I would have wanted to spent all day in the car if raining all day! Good value for money
The one problem was that Viator could not communicate to the tour operator which location I wanted to pick up my car from, and they were out at Union Square, so I had to take a cab to Fisherman's Wharf.
Car was ok, could have done with a bit more power & the fumes got a bit smelly after a while. Driving in San Fran is fun & safe. The commentary & sat nav is great fun! Would recommend it - we did two hours which was enough as it was a cold day.
once yer off and going its very cool, the staff wasnt very clear on timings and prices etc...make sure you look at the time as it flies by and by then its too late and you have to race back to the office because your an hour behind schedule!!!!
Gas cars let off a lot of exhaust and were very loud.
