ABSOLUTELY MONEY WELL SPENT!! We opted for the full day package so we could take our time and enjoy the many stops. A great way to see parts of the city that are off the tour bus routes. The staff was friendly and patient with all our questions. It is a safe and wonderful way to explore such a beautiful city.

It was a beautiful sunny day in San Francisco. I rent the go car for 3 hours. Unfortunately, half hour into the trip the GPS stopped working and we had to navigate our way back using a street map. It was hectic and nerve wracking as the traffic in San Francisco is heavy. The gentleman at the rental was sorry for this problem, offered us a free trip and told me I had to go through viator for refund. I called viator and Michelle, within 5 minutes on the phone refunded me the full cost. I would recommend this tour despite our difficulty as the half hour the gps worked, it took us on some beautiful sites.

This tour is a great way to see the city and also a lot of fun. It was a little daunting at first with all the paperwork and insurance stuff but when your out and about it is wonderful. I would recommend spending the extra money for the upgraded car and spend at least 2 hours driving around.

My 17 yr old son and I were in SF for 3 + days (we had been there before) and this was the high point of the trip for me. I loved it. You can go pretty much anywhere as long as you obey the regular traffic rules and use common sense. I even crossed busy Van Ness street in this wonderful little car! My son did have to get out and push once when we were trying to go up a steep hill, but otherwise, it was great!!! I highly recommend it. We took it out for 2 hrs!!!

We had an awesome time on this - what a fantastic way to see San Fran! Loved every second... The only hiccup is that there are 2 locations where you can pick this up from. The voucher you recieve has both locations so you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right! Voucher should state the actual location not both so you might want to call the hire place before heading off!!

we had some trouble with the gocar; and it quit running. we had to call the gocar office. they came out to near fishermans wharf and got us a new car. it ran great. because of the problem we were late getting back, but they adjusted our rate because of the problem without us having to ask. the tour itself was great.

Car was fun to drive. At 30 mph we left bikes in the dust. Recommend you go in the afternoon as the fog hadn't lifted by 10:30. Don't miss Rodins thinker. Great restaurant suggestions, with info on Stars favorite hangouts.

My boyfriend and I decided to do the go-carts GPS-guided tour because we wanted to explore SF and see as many tourist attractions as we could, so this was the best way to do it. We selected the 3-hour tour bc there was a special. I really wanted to the the whole day tour. Next time for sure!

Booked this activity last minute, while at the rental location. The vehicle we got was noisy, slow, and very beat up. We saw many newer vehicles around town that were rented from the other locations (we got ours at Union Square).
Putting all of that aside.... you MUST do this if in town. You will have a fantastic time and be able to see all of the sights that you CANNOT actually see on the hop-on, hop-off buses. We spent about four hours and were able to head up to Coit Tower and Telegraph Hill, up to Inspiration Point, Twin Peaks, North Beach, the Painted Ladies, drove down Lombard and had more people taking OUR picture than pictures of the street... we will certainly do this again when we are able to get back to San Francisco. We'll also look for Go Cars in other cities we visit; we'll just make sure we get one that's in better shape.
