What You Can Expect

While on the Island, take the time to explore the historic gardens and abundant wildlife, including Brandt’s cormorants, Canada geese and several species of songbirds. Ferries back to the mainland depart every half an hour, and the recommended visiting time to Alcatraz is 2.5 hours to 3 hours.
Upon your return to Pier 33, stroll for 0.6 miles (1km) along San Francisco's picturesque waterfront to reach bustling Fisherman's Wharf, the departure point for your sunset bay cruise. Great day out and excellent value! visiting from australia for my daughters 21st and husbands 50th. We had a great day out, the trip to Alcatraz was better than i expected great audio tour, you are not in a tour group so go at your own pace and catch any ferry back ( they run every half an hour) when you have had enough. Take jumper though even if warm on the main land! The evening boat tour was amazing value, not crowded great cold buffet, entertainment. You sail right round to sausolito and up under the bridge, we had a great clear night so got some great photos. We all really enjoyed the day so great for all ages

Everything went to time. Great audio tour round Alcatraz jail block.
Our evening cruise was fantastic. Great views, lovely food, nice staff...couldn't fault it. Thank you for wonderful experience and showing us the sights. Worth doing.
