What's not to like about this tour it sells it's self.
A lunchtime / afternoon trip to Alcatraz and back for our fantastic sunset bay cruise with wine and plentiful buffet.
Sailing under the Golden great bridge in the dark with the bridge lit up will be a great memory for ever

Fantastic day out. All close by and easy to do. Don't miss Alcatraz. Very efficiently run tour. Wonderful place. The sunset cruise was also terrific. While it didn't advertise it, the food was enough for dinner. The musician Billy D made our night. He was great.

Two separate tours......we enjoyed both. The sunset tour is on a new boat and entertainment is provided, great views at sunset and later!!

We had an awesome time on this tour! Would recommend you do it, get there a bit earlier for Alcatraz tour as lines for ferry can be long, the cruise was fantastic

Great tour. Very easy to check in and the sunset tour was fantastic. Food was great and the views were unsurpassed. My son and I enjoyed every minute. Alcatraz tour was much easier for check in than when I've booked directly with Alcatraz cruises. Definitely worth it to book through Viator.

Excellent tour if first time visitors to San Francisco. Book well in advance as tours to Alcatraz are impossible to get if not booked.
Ferry ride to Alcatraz was very smooth and enjoyable and the prison island well worth visiting. No rushing about with your own time to see what you want ant return when you want.
The evening cruise was also very good taking in the Golden Gate and Bay bridges. Very nice small buffet snack was presented on their maiden voyage.
Get to both tours early as the queues get very long although there is plenty of room on both vessels.
Recommended.

The audio tour of Alcatraz was anything but boring! Our teenagers found it just as interesting as we did. Loved that an ex- inmate was signing his book in the store. The sunset cruise had more than enough food for all the passengers aboard. It included: turkey, roast beef and vegetable sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit, vegetables , pulled pork and more. You have the choice of staying inside or being out on deck where you'd definitely need a jacket. Loved both parts of jail and Sail!

Alcatraz was one of the top highlights of our trip to San Francisco. Doing the audio tour is a must. The sunset bay cruise was also very nice. The live music was good and the food was more than I expected. My only complaint would be how the tickets were handled. Even though the Alcatraz tour is first and you have to leave from Pier 33, for some reason you have to pick up your Alcatraz tickets from Pier 41, which is where the sunset cruise leaves from. So you have to go to Pier 41 to get both sets of tickets, walk back to Pier 33 to go to Alcatraz, then walk BACK to Pier 41 to do the sunset cruise. Since the first part of the tour leaves from Pier 33, it would make WAY more sense to give out both sets of tickets at Pier 33. Especially since the day we were there, we stopped at Pier 33 where they told us we had to go to Pier 41 to get our tickets. So we walked down to Pier 41, only to be told that the tickets were at Pier 33 and they were waiting for them to be delivered to Pier 41. We had to wait nearly an hour to get our tickets delivered from Pier 33 to Pier 41 so we could walk back to Pier 33, right where we started out.

Lovely boat trip. Food varied and substantial. Unfortunately the Golden Gate Bridge was shrouded in mist so we saw very little. However, the boat trip was lovely and relaxing. I can imagine it would be stunning if not misty as you go right under the bridge. Well organised.
