was perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we also did another evening sail later in the week it was great !
Lovely boat trip. Food varied and substantial. Unfortunately the Golden Gate Bridge was shrouded in mist so we saw very little. However, the boat trip was lovely and relaxing. I can imagine it would be stunning if not misty as you go right under the bridge. Well organised.
Fabulous great tour value for money. Glad we booked in advance because Alcatraz was completely sold out for the next 4 weeks
The combined jail and sail was perfect. The light buffet was considerably more than what I expected. a wonderful experience for our first trip to San Francisco
Would've like to get on the night tour of Alcatraz (it was sold out), but the sunset cruise made up for it! There was lots of food, so we shouldn't have eaten before hand but I didn't know. Would absolutely do it again and again!! And dress warm for the sunset cruise, as the wind is cold even in summer.
Nice tour! The staff are friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that you could spend the day at Alcatraz if you wanted to do so. The audio tour was great! You could take your time and really explore the prison
Well organised and very informative. Boats left on time and everything that was stated beforehand was provided on the day. The sunset cruise was really enjoyable, and we got to take some great pictures, just a shame the sun wasn't shining! Well worth the price.
Alcatraz was amazing and the bay bridge and Golden gate dinner cruise well worth the money!
We booked this tour for the next day after our arrival and it being an afternoon/evening tour this was good so that we knew where we were going. The Alcatraz visit was fascinating and gave plenty of time to take the audio tour and look around afterwards at your leisure. The second part of the tour meant getting to a different wharf to catch the bay cruise but there was plenty of time to get there after the boat from Alcatraz had docked (your return time is open but departure time specific so be careful you don't overstay!). The cruise out under the golden gate and back around Alcatraz down to AT and T park (home of the San Francisco Giants Baseball team for non-Americans or lovers of the game) was great and the food of decent quality and plentiful. The musician on board was entertaining depending on your musical preferences but not to everyone's taste. We returned to the pier with the boat travelling directly into the sun setting behind the Golden Gate Bridge and it luckily being a crystal clear day the images were magnificent. I would highly recommend this trip.
Alcatraz was the highlight if my trip, made even more special meeting the last survivor ing prisoner who served time there. Could not fault the evening cruise under Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge. Had a singer to entertain on top deck and a very lovely spread laid out, with lots left. WONDERFUL!!
