A most enjoyable journey. The trip was very scenic. The time spent in each place was just enough to get a good feel for the place, but it was not long enough to see everything, leaving us with the desire to return.

This was an excellent trip. We had a very informative and helpful tour guide who ensured we did not miss anything worth seeing. The scenery was magnificent, and we had opportunities to take photos.

Fabulous tour, with a nice, informative guide, this is a must-do! A long day but a great day. Beautiful vistas, take plenty of memory or film, you will need it.

Our tour guide and driver was really informative and very very friendly. He made our tour very interesting and we came away with a good knowledge of California in general, especially the coast area from San Francisco to Carmel. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and farming in the area. We loved our trip and would use Viator again. Thanks so much.

Loved the trip itinerary, the stops, and the pacing, as did our two Australian traveling companions, but the legroom on the small bus was barely adequate for a 5ft 6in person. Tour company is trying to fit in too many seats for a comfortable full day trip.

It was a great tour except there is insufficient time in the aquarium in Monterey. The stop in Monterey should be 3 hours and perhaps decrease the timing spent in the golf course during the 17 Mile for example.

Great trip. The fog lifted as we left the city. Sit on the right-hand side of the bus - you get great views for your camera. Monterey is nice, but unless you like shopping we thought 2 hours was a bit too much here; would have rather had some more time at beautiful Carmel - the beach and views are stunning. The best bit is the 17 Mile Drive with its amazing coastline. It's a long day being picked up around 8 and getting back to the city around 7.30pm, but the coach is quite comfortable for sleeping!

This was a great day out, but it took about 3 hours to get to Monterey. That was unexpected. Great scenery and glad we went. Our guide was actually Austrian. Had a great personality and kept us all amused and happy. Great shops and great to stop at Pebble Beach.

In Monterey, we visited Cannery Row and the aquarium. Carmel is OK. The 17-Mile Drive was not done completely. Nice scenery though. It would have been nicer if the tour would have driven the entire 17 miles.

The 17 mile drive is lovely and worth seeing although you don't get enough time at Monterey and Carmel, only 1 or 1 hour 30 in each. Carmel is worth more time as it is stunning. Our guide waffled non stop and was the slowest driver in the US, left the hotel at 8am and didn't get back until 10pm after she got lost around the airport. Long day for only 2 and a half hours off the bus.
