Great time! Lots of info and beautiful places. Wish it was longer and got started 30+ minutes late but made up for it at the end!
Wonderful tour! I wish we had maybe a half hour longer in Muir Woods, but otherwise it was perfect. Excellent views of the Golden Gate Bridge, beautiful Redwoods, and a quick stop in Sausalito. Our tour guide went out of his way to make us comfortable and satisfy each of us. Yahoo, Manny!
Great tour with plenty of time to see the giant redwoods and great photo stops of Golden Gate bridge
Crossed over the Golden Gate Bridge to get to the woods am, around the bridge quite misty but by lunch on the way back it was clear. Tour guide stops off on way back at a good view point. If you like walking and taking photos then this half day tour won't be long enough for you unless you drive there yourselves as some of the trials you need more time on. The tour fits in a little town afterwards although I would happily have given this up for more time in the woods.
Great tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and interactive with the people. I loved Muir Woods - I went on the 9am tour and I'm glad I did. We were one of the first few there so it was really peaceful and quiet. By the time we left, more people were coming in and the noise level went up especially with the school trips, so it was nice to have those few minutes seeing the area without any disruption. If you want to do the longer trails you'll have to do a whole day tour or go separately - could only do the 30min trail. Overall, good tour for those who want to see Muir Woods and who don't have much time in San Fran. Only stayed for 3 nights.
We had a great time on this tour. Our driver was very pollite and knowledgeable about every place we visited. I would recommend taking it.
Great trip! First time seeing red woods! The bus driver really made the trip....very friendly and personable! Also, his narration was extremely interesting and informative.
A good opportunity to see the pretty small town of Sausalito and the magnificent giant redwoods at Muir Woods, an oasis of peace and serenity after the bustle of San Francisco. Our excellent driver stopped at one side of the Golden Gate Bridge for a photo opportunity. We really enjoyed our morning.
Had a great tour! Didn't feel rushed and driver/tour guide was great!
Hotel pickup was very convenient. I had my 81 year old mother with me and we were pleased with the tour and service. We ended up taking a ferry from Sausalito over to Fisherman's Wharf which turned out great!
must see / amazing tour guide / very knockledgable and friendly
Enjoyed the tour, and tour guide was very informative, filled with stories about San Francisco
This tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and he kept to the schedule despite all the hotel pick ups and stops along the way. Muir Woods is amazing!
Totally enjoyed this trip out of the city and the tour guide was excellent and very knowledgable
Muir woods was awesome. Great trip. We could have spent longer there.
Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and tour delivered exactly what was advertised.
Muir Woods was one of the coolest places I've been to. If you enjoy huge trees and feeling "small" I'd totally recommend the visit. The Giant redwoods were also a sight to see as I've never seen trees that big. Sausalito was a great town to end the trip with. The town had beautiful views and shops.
Loved Muir Woods and would have preferred to spend the entire time there. Sausalito was not really interesting to me and is prettier at night.
Maybe a bit less (conservative) political commentary from bus driver, but overall he was very humorous and informative. Trip itself was great and very easy.
