Excellent day trip. Our driver/guide was brilliant, funny and informative and gave us loads of good tips for the day away. The woods are something to be seen, you could easily spend the day wandering around exploring. I would recommend this trip. :)

The trip was good, interesting guide. Very accommodating... however... the local contact in SF for the tours (Super Sightseeing Tours) was very rude when our am pick-up location place was screwed up. I couldn't believe it...

A beautiful place could of had more time here. The tour guide did a little detour to give us a better view of Golden Gate bridge to take photos

Trip was great - driver well informed and very friendly. In addition to Muir Woods being beautiful, Sausalito was so charming.

This was really good informative tour. the tour guide.scott was brilliant. The forrest was beautiful and well worth seeing. saucilito was a lovely little town and the only down side was that we didn't have enough time here. still we thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it.

Aaron was absolutely wonderful! He gave a great account of everything we passed by on the trip. He mentioned more of the area than we expected. Wonderful driver felt safe and secure even on the switchbacks! Aaron is very personable and friendly. Even though he has driven this many times, he made it feel like it was still exciting to see.

I booked this tour mainly for my husband since he is such an outdoor type, but I wound up being awed by the magnificent redwoods. They are simply stunning and it is impossible to realize how huge they are without standing near them. This place can't be missed.
Our guide/driver, Kenneth, also stopped at the Marin Headlands so we could get an amazing photo opportunity of the Golden Gate and the city.
Our last stop was Sausalito, where we enjoyed having a nice lunch and walking around the town. The views from Sausalito of SF, Angel Island, and Alcatraz are very nice. A lot of folks stayed in Sausalito longer and took the ferry back to the city. This was a great tour.

Good value trip through Viator's local representative based in Fisherman's Wharf. Bus was ok although i'm uncertain if it offered air con. Then again in September this wasn't an issue.
The trip down to Muir woods from Sausalito is a little twisty, up to that point all Freeway, although no-one on the bus had any troubles. The hour in the woods is just about enough - we even did the 1.5 hour walk in this time!
Trip back via Sausalito gave you just over an hour which I feel is not enough to grab food and do some sighseeing. We decided to ditch bus at that point and take ferry over to Fisherman's Wharf. Wow would we recommend this as you get to see Golden Gate, Alcatraz as well as the skyline of SF all for US$10 or US$ for seniors.
Overall I would recommend this trip and local tour company.

Perfect trip with Troy as an amazing guide. Would have never gone up these curvy street to Muir Woods. A bit more time at each stop would be nice. Thanks Troy for the additional stop with an amazing view on Golden Gate Bridge!!
