Nice tour. The bus driver that picked us up at the hotel had horrible language but the driver who took us to Muir Woods was very nice and knowledgable. Very nice tour.
One of my favorites, next to Alcatraz! I never knew tress would make me so excited, lol! Book this one, its beautiful!
This was a lovely trip. We took our voucher to the ticket office which was easy to find, this was exchanged for our tickets and we were then told where the coach would pick us up,just across the street. On time the coach arrived and we were warmly welcomed by Aaron our driver tour guide. Aaron was extremely professional he was very knowledgeable about the whole Bay Area pointing out things that we would otherwise have missed.
Muir woods was stunning and Sausalito was exquisite, oh to have that much money. The whole trip was seamless from start to finish. Thank you for enriching our holiday.
Muir Woods was truly amazing. The Giant Redwoods is a sight to see. Our tour guide was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.
This was a great tour and the experience of seeing Coastal Redwoods and Giant Sequoias was superb. The driver was very knowledgeable about the history of Muir Woods and Sausalito and his narration added to the experience greatly. For both Muir Woods and Sausalito you cross the Golden Gate Bridge from San Fransisco which is a tourist thrill in itself. For any travellers worried about the degree of any walking involved, this is entirely at your own discretion. Boardwalk footpaths run through the woods, so you can walk as far or not as you wish and you have about an hour and a half in the woods which we found was plenty of time. Benches and a refreshment and gift shop is also available. The second half of the tour is in Sausalito, where you get about an hour to see small independent artistic shops, cafe's, and boutiques. The bay is always close by for fantastic views across the Sausilito harbour and to watch sea traffic come and go. The tour picks up from city centre hotels in the morning and returns you to the hotel doorstep later, which made the tour easy to access. I can thoroughly recommend this tour and think it provides good value for money.
Muir Woods is an ecological marvel . The giant redwoods are breathtaking and the trqail going through the woods offers many different aspects of the forest.
Sausolito was great and the ferry ride back to Fisherman's wharf offers great views.
A very nice half day trip.
Great tour. Muir Woods tour was just breathtaking. Beautiful if you like nature. A little too short.
Sausalito was a great little town, perfect to see after the cold forest.
Excellent tour. Bus driver was very knowledgable and entertaining. Great day out.
Great tour, well informed guide who offered historical insights, clean bus, on schedule and a perfect venue to focus upon the views rather than traffic!
This tour was perfect. The Muir Woods were spectacular and the time spent in quaint Sausalito was relaxing and fun.
Good half day trip, driver picked us up at the hotel and dropped us at the Fisherman's Wharf (which is where we wanted to go). For those wanting to be dropped back at the hotel, you will have to transfer onto another bus which they organise for you at Fisherman's Wharf. Overall very good, and driver stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge too for a photo stop which was a good bonus.
Muir Woods is out of some Elven fantasy land, wouldn't surprise you to see either Elves or Dinosaurs in those woods and Sausalito was a nice stop too. Our guide really made the trip for us, pointed out a ton of stuff driving out and back into San Francisco (Like the hill the chase scene from the movie 'Bullitt' was filmed on). Seeing the Redwoods was a bucket list trip for us and it was up to all of my expectations.
Fantastic tour. Guide was very knowlegable and had so many interesting facts about everything. I never realized the road to Muir Woods was so twisting and high up. Trip across the Golden Gate bridge encouraged us to rent bikes and ride across it. We took the ferry back from Sausalito. Well worth the money.
