The tour guide was extremely excellent in his knowledge of the area and his driving was very good too. We were extremely pleased with how the tour bus picked us up and delivered us back to the hotel. This made our day for sure.

This tour was great! The tour guide was very informative and fun. He took the time to interact with us, and that made our trip all the better. The tour itself was a great half day, although it is a bit short. I recommend that you take the ferry back from Sausalito, that way you can spend some time touring the small city and its shops because an hour just is not long enough. I would recommend going for the morning tour rather than the afternoon tour because Muir Woods is less crowded that early, and by the time you get to Sausalito it is early afternoon and not so crowded either. Besides this way you have more time to spend in Sausalito before the last ferry leaves for San Francisco.

The trip was well worth the price due in large part to the driver, who was clever, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.

This is a good trip to take for half a day, especially if you had a long flight the day before. It is relaxing, informative, and you can go at your own pace. Unless you really like to shop and dine, I would not consider leaving the tour in Sausalito and taking the ferry back to San Francisco.

Everything was extremely well organized. We were picked up at our hotel as expected. The tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, easy to understand and a real pleasure to be around. The site was breathtaking. The giant trees in Muir Woods were awe inspiring, and the views on San Francisco from the charming village of Sausalito were great. Definitely recommend.

The morning trip to Muir Woods was awesome! Definitely would recommend going in the morning instead of afternoon, too crowded in pm.

Muir Woods is only 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco, but it may as well be a thousand miles away. It's eerily quiet, and even though there's not much sunlight gets in through the canopy -- the biggest trees are over 200 feet -- when it does, it is radiantly beautiful. I loved this tour; Sausalito is cool too, but it's urban, and Muir Woods steals the show! A great value tour for any visitor to San Francisco.

Fantastic to have a break from sightseeing around the busy city streets. Definitely worth doing. I stayed in Sausalito as it was great to be able to have a relaxed lunch and then get the ferry back to the city. Excellent tour guide/driver. Incredibly knowledgeable, which made for an enjoyable trip.

Sausalito is a cute little town. Great views of San Francisco. There is a houseboat in the marina shaped like the Taj Mahal. Redwoods are truly GIANTS.

It was a great tour; the driver/tour guide was great, very knowledgeable, great personality. Plenty of time to see everything in Muir Woods. Sausalito was OK, not a lot to do there unless your preference is wine and art. Was nice to be able to stop near the Golden Gate Bridge for photos. All in all, was a lot of fun.
