The Muir Woods Tour was excellent...especially our tour guide Troy. Nice bus, a fair amount of time to explore Muir Woods and Sausolito. But I was signed up for the Bay Tour as well and I thought it went directly from Sausolito to San Fran. Instead I went back to the downtown San Fran hub and then to the Bay Tour. I ended up giving my ticket away to someone as I wasn't sure I'd be back in time for a meeting at my conference. This tour was advertised as one package and it doesn't make sense to have you come all the way back to San Fran. I was confused once I got on the tour and was on the bus to the hub before I realized I could have taken the ferry back. You need to add more detail about how the Bay Cruise fits in.
Really loved this tour. The trees were amazing. The driver was friendly. The road to Muir Woods is very curvy so did get a little car sick on the shuttle.
Our tour guide/driver, Igor, was great! Informative and funny, made the tour even more interesting! The sights were awesome and amazing!
I really enjoyed the walk in the Muir Woods and seeing the giant redwoods. It was very peaceful, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. I wish they would skip the Sausalito part of the tour and give you more time to walk in the Muir Woods. The Sausalito part of the tour is just shopping and very expensive. We didn't get to stop to take pictures of the Golden Gate like we were told we would because 5 people on our tour were very late on our Sausalito stop. It really wasn't a tour but more of a shuttle but worth the price.
The tour was wonderful. We loved Muir Woods but would have liked more time in Sausalito. The bus driver/tour guide was outstanding.
The Muir Woods tour got us away from the city, nice ride along the way, Sausalito was more of a stop off, not a lot to see, The Bay Cruise was nice, wear a coat, hat, gloves and scarf, we went in March.
Muir Woods was a fabulous experience not just for the redwoods but also the peace and quiet compared to downtown. Sausalito was a not to be missed quaint town.
The driver / guide was a laid back fabulous guy called Troy, knowledgeable, humorous and friendly.
Recommended to all.
Mono was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
Our guide Aaron was the highlight of the trip. During the entire bus journey he kept on telling us interesting facts and anecdotes of the places and we never got bored and time flew away in a jiffy. So in case you want to know about San Fransisco in detail and get away from city hustle -bustle for a day , do go for this trip
spectacular trip and our guide was very knowledgeable. Plenty of time to explore the Muir Woods and Sausalito. Easy booking and I would recommend this tour.
The tour to Muir Woods and Sausalito was great. I enjoyed the fact that someone else did the driving. We stopped at Muir Woods for about 1-1/2 hours and the woods are beautiful. Then we went to Sausalito and just took pics and walked around for about 1-1/2 hours then caught the tour bus back to the pick up location right by Fisherman's Wharf. That in itself was so convenient for us because our hotel was right around the block from there. No trying to find a parking spot. I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was awesome as well. Very friendly.
A must tour to enjoy the awesome trees, so beautiful. Spend the rest of the day in Saucealeto and take the ferry across the bay to SF.
Great trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito and the Bay Cruise was cool. The bus ride was very nice even though we went along Highway 1 and the steep roads leading to Muir Woods.
Wonderful trip and perfect for a rainy day in San Francisco. Wish that we would have had a little more time in Sausalito. But we will be back.
The staff is very nice and handful. The tour itself was fabulous. I enjoyed the walk in the Redwoods forest. Sausalito is perfect for a short lunch stop, not really for shopping. The Bay Cruise was very nice.
The ranger was very informative. The forest was a paradise...so peaceful.
