On your tour you will enjoy the morning exploring the spectacular Redwood Sequoia trees at Muir Woods, then relax in the afternoon while your tour guide introduces you to the California Wine Country.

You will visit two to three small boutique Sonoma wineries spending at least 45 minutes at each winery. All wine tasting is complimentary and you will even have a chance to try 5-10 delicious wines at each winery! This tour is ideal for both the first time wine taster and those with a prized wine cellar full of fine wines.

Itinerary:

• Hotel pick-up from Fisherman's Wharf or downtown San Francisco.
• Stop at The Palace of Fine Arts and see it's beautiful gardens and amazing architecture.
• Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge.
• Stop at the Marin Headlands for spectacular views of San Francisco, Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge.
• Visit Muir Woods and view the Redwood Sequoia trees that are over 1,000 years old and over 240 feet (80 meters) tall.
• Explore historical downtown Sonoma, once the capital of California. Visit the Solano Mission built under Mexican rule in 1823, the old army barracks, Hotel Toscano with its old west saloon, the Sonoma Cheese factory, and have lunch (you can bring your own or purchase some there).
• Tour two to three interesting and distinct California wineries, and try delicious hand-crafted wines. On the wine country tour you will learn about the wine making process in California and what makes the California wine country so special. You will spend at least 45 minutes at each winery.
• Drive to Marin County towards Sausalito and its picturesque floating homes, a great photo opportunity of San Francisco.
• Drop off at your San Francisco Hotel's front door, or if you would like to stay longer at Sausalito, you can catch a ferry back to San Francisco (ferry cost not included in tour).

All bookings cancelled will incur 20% cancellation penalties, except for any bookings cancelled within 72 hours of travel which will incur 100% cancellation penalties.
