Worth checking out but it's A LOT of time in a utility-type van. Granted, there was a car race that caused a little traffic on the way up and back to San Francisco from Sonoma, but it was still a long trip. Ours ended up being 10 hours, which, considering the fact that we were only at 3 wineries for about 45 minutes each, lunch in Sonoma for an hour and Muir Woods for an hour, equates to quite a bit of time en-route. The tour guide did a great job, no other real issues, just a lot of time en route if you were staying at the hotel that got picked up first and dropped off last.

Generally ok, could recommend. Minuses compared with other tours are that the car was dirty and the guide lacked knowledge about the surroundings.

Only the first winery was worth the time. The other two were not. Muir Woods is beautiful!
