Get it ! Its totally worth it. I think its the easiest way to get from the airport to the best area in San Francisco, close to the bay!! :
Easy way to get to city especially if you're staying at the embarcadero area.
Great value for money. Easy to find your own way to hotel. Trains very frequent.
Great way to get from the airport to San Francisco. Bart even stopped right in front of my hotel. One problem I was told to go to the wrong Bart station @ the airport, they in turn sent me to another wrong agent then she sent us back to another counter. Lot of running after a long flight.
Made my solo trip to San Francisco a breeze... Went from the airport onto the BART straight into SanFrancisco without feeling like a deer in headlights
Absolutely brilliant service. $8 for a return trip plus one extra trip once in San Francisco.
So quick and easy to get from the airport to San Francisco areas. Well worth the money and would highly recommend. !!!
found this very good way of getting from airport to san Francisco easy to use m.stephenson
Very easy to use and we only had to go up the escalator at our station to get to our hotel on Market Street
Great mode of transport, fast and inexpensive and convienient to and from airport.
Excellent, quick way to get to and from airport and economical.
It was really good to travel on Bart when you want to get around in San Francisco. It was quick and very fast.
Great way to travel if you do not have far to go when getting off of the train. Quick, easy, beats the traffic and felt safe.
A qreat way to get from the airport into hotels in the city centre and to travel back to the airport with certainty about timings etc
easlily to use as a first time visitor to san francisco saved a lot of money by not getting a taxi to hotel
Easy to book and good value. However clerk at information desk at SFO did not have my name on his list. I was able to show him my confirmation and they issued the ticket. So moral of the story is to take your paperwork!
The people on the BART are not very helpful although we did manage to find our way after wandering aimlessly for 10 minutes and asking a very grumpy woman at San Francisco Airport. It's a bit like the subway only the seats are less comfortable - quite quick to get into the city and there are regular trains. However, if you are staying near Fisherman's Wharf, it's too far to walk to the hotel from the nearest BART station Embarcadero, so you have to either find a bus impossible to work out when you've just arrived or a taxi, which is another 15. I think it's cheaper than it would have been by taxi all the way, so don't regret the buy and it was cheaper than buying the ticket when we got there.
