Easily worth the money. You're not trapped on those giant tug boats will a million other people with a recording playing overhead. The Adventure Cat plays Journey and you cruise around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge. There's bar on board too...
Exceptionally smooth sailing and a wonderful crew made this adventure a real pleasure. Would highly recommend to anyone young or old!
Great boat and crew. We enjoyed our cruise, even on a cold, windy day.
A chill time on the bay. We caught the perfect weather for sailing and glided around the bay in mild winds. Seals and Harbor Porpoise, too. And there's a loo on board. The only problem was on the street after landing when a seagull swooped and took a chunk out of the hot dog I was eating.
The trip was amazing! The crew super. I would highly recommend this.
Nice craft, clean and well maintained. Circuit takes you around alcatraz island, under the bridge and back to pier 39. Nice sailing!
My husband and I had a great time. It was pretty low key and that is exactly what we were looking for. We were happy to hang out on the water and see Alcatraz, the bridges and the neighboring islands. We liked that the crew had beverages and snacks to purchase. Oh, the extra jackets sure came in handy too!
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the opportunity to see the city and surrounding areas from the water. The crew was wonderful and the boat was great!
We had a fun experience on this tour. Hans and Julie were our guides and they were quite
Amazing!!!! My family n I along with another guest were on this cruise. hold up to 60 people We went on a Wednesday, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you take this cruise. Captain and 1st Mate were very talkative and helpful when it came to taking pictures. It was smooth sailing could not feel the waves. For the price and the 1 1/2 hour trip, So worth the money.
Will I book again, Yes!!
Thanks SF Bay Sailing Cruise
My sons will remember this trip cause they are telling family about it.
Happy choice, Happy results, Happy Family.
Love love love this. The crew is friendly and, if asked, DO volunteer to help raise the sail. A memory I'll have forever, Please, tho, dress for warmth. Oh, and no high heels. This is a catamaran. I HAD A BLAST!!!
This is the way to go in San Francisco. This company was extremely accommodating and they really made the whole experience enjoyable. It was my daughters graduation trip and they made her feel like the Captain of the Ship. Thanks
A wonderful afternoon out on the bay and a great way to see Alcatraz Island, the city and the rolling hills steep streets!.
Very enjoyable. I felt very safe during this cruise, and I was able to secure some great pictures.
Always love being out on the water...our tour of the SF bay was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly...always willing to take "another" tourists' picture.
It made our one day stop in SF memorable...definitely worth every dollar. Provided us some amazing pictures of Alcatraz, Sausalito, Pier 39, and of course...the BRIDGE from underneath! Thank you!
It was an awesome experience. I will definitely do it again. It was clear, no fog.
We went on the 3:00 tour! It was fantastic. Would highly recommend this!!
The tour itself was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the weather was amazing, the view are incredible. The craft was a beautiful catamaran - stable yet you get the feeling of the water. I loved the nets that you were able to sit on in the front of the boat; really got to feel everything! Also, booking the trip through Viator took a matter of minutes and was very clear and straightforward. Will do this again, hands down.
great experience! fantastic crew- friendly and knowledgable. The boat was well-maintained and comfortable with plenty of space outside and inside for everyone. The route was lovely: around alcatraz, under the golden gate bridge and back. And as an added bonus, it takes off from pier 39- right where the sea lions live, so you get an up-close view of them.
For those concerned, you don't really get wet (unless it's raining). There's a possibility of getting wet if you're standing in the wrong place, but the crew will warn you. I was comfortable bringing a good, not-waterproof camera with me. It WILL get chilly though, so plan for that (it IS san fran after all)
Great day on the bay. Seeing from the water, the city, the bridges and surroundings, makes one realize how wonderful this entire area is. 90 minutes with 30 or so people on a 60' Catamaran under sail is much better than the big barges packed with people. Bit more money but longer and better cruise.
