The trip was great. i would recomend it to all. The add on Dim Sum was good but not great. It was not "traditional" in the sense that each diner picked from carts. It was preordered. That said it was very good.

Loved the tour and would do it again, but not the lunch. I don't think we got the best deal for our money ($40 for 2 of us) with the dim sum lunch. We would have probably been better off getting lunch after the tour on our own.
The tour guide (Linda Lee) is excellent and I learned so much more than I ever knew before about Chinatown (even after living in SF for 13 yrs!).
Excellent tour guide, Linda and also learned a lot about the area, loved seeing the fortune cookie factory and learning about the area, but the tour guide should wear a mic because my stepmom was hard of hearing and didn't hear really anything that she was saying, but I really enjoyed the whole tour.
Well worth doing. Beth was an excellent guide and imparted knowledge in a friendly and easy going way. We were a small group of 5, we two Brits + 3 Americans. This made for an interesting chat over a delicious lunch. Time went very quickly, we particularly liked the fortune cookie factory. Fun and informative.
Linda was a fabulous guide. She offered not only information about Chinatown, but also the history of the Chinese immigrants and cultural differences of today. I was a bit disappointed with the tour of the fortune cookie factory - it was a very small place and not everyone in the group was able to get into it and see what was going on. Overall, it was worth it and was a great introduction to the area. We ended up spending the rest of the day discovering more things in Chinatown by ourselves and visiting some of the tour stops to shop. The lunch was pretty good - a nice sampling of food. It was really nice to sit down at lunch with our tourguide and have some more time just talking with her and gaining more knowledge. Thanks Linda !

A very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor made this for a wonderful experience.
Really Good, well worth it.
Although I enjoyed the walk and the nice tourguide I was disappointed with the speed of the tour, like the 30 second visit to the fortune cookie factory. Groups were lined up and we had to run in, grab a cookie and run out again, no time to look around. I would have liked to spend some more time at the diferent venues.
