This was an amazing pass. After initially being given incorrect info re redeeming pass it turned out well. We were time poor but in one day did the bridge to bridge tour , the duck tour , Madam Taussauds and the Dungeons. Captain Milke on duck tour was amazing, highlight of trip. I didn't care for the dungeons but my daughters loved it. There were many other choices too,such great value.
This pass is good if you have enough time to choose the other four things we only got two others in with all the other tours we booked. Well worth the value.
This was the way to go we saw all the top sites with this and saved about 35. Do look and compare with what you want to do and pick the pass tht works for what you want to see, but in general if there is serveral things you are wanting to do this or either of the other 2 passes are worth it.
Great deal! We saved a lot of money getting this pass. Beautiful place to visit. If we ever get to go back we will definitely get this pass.

Highly recommend the Bridge to Bridge boat tour, excellent! Aquarium also very good. Dungeons of San Fran I could have skipped, but not bad.
Decide what you want to do before buying the ticket. A lot of the places we weren't interested in. But we found four that we did like the look of. Check as some of the attractions offered have "free" days anyway .
Yes it did save money , but didn't allow front of the queue . So compared to the New York city pass it wasn't quite as good.
We would promote the academy of science , really worth the visit .
I really wanted to do the Hop on and Off tour, but it was hard to find and did not have enough buses for the demand of people.
The parking around Fisherman's wharf was awful and expensive,25-30 a day. The tours were good.
The pass is a great deal however we went to the San Fran visitors center on a Saturday and they were closed and we were unable to get the muni pass to use the cable cars which was a disappointment. You should put the hours on the information booklet so people know when you can use that option.

We are disappointed to hear that you were unable to pick up your cable car ticket at the Visitor Center. The Center is open 7 days a week from May - October. It is closed on Sundays and holidays from November - April. However, you may pick up your cable car ticket in Fisherman's Wharf on the days that the Visitor Center is closed. The hours and directions for each ticket location are clearly noted in the accompanying guide and we encourage visitors to contact our customer care department if they encounter any disruptions like this during their trip so that we can resolve issues quickly to get you on your way. Our trip was fantastic but the Explorer Pass was terrible if you wanted to use it for the muni/cable cars. We picked up our passes on Saturday at Macy's and specifically asked about using them for public transit. We were told we had to get tickets at the Powell Street cable car ticket office at Powell and Market. Of course we went there and were told they did not recognize the Explorer Pass. We ended up spending more money to buy the day pass. The main reason we got the Exploer Pass was for the cable car/muni access - VERY FRUSTRATING! GET YOUR INFORMATION STRAIGHT, E.P. people and please make sure the venues who issue the passes know how to properly advise customers!
On Saturday we tried to retrieve the muni pass. The visitor center is the place that we were supposed to redeem it. (there was a secondary place but it states it is only open on Sunday) Once we parked and walked over to the address for the muni pass, we found out the visitor center was closed! The night before we tried to use it at the believe it or not attraction, and the attendant told us we could only use it before 5:45pm!
All in all, we were only able to use 2 of the 4 activities and we were very upset with that. They need better disclosures or ways to get things like Muni passes.
