Follow a designated route and listen to audio commentary, or deviate to explore as you see fit. More than 50 key sights are included on the guided tour, such as:
- Crissy Field
- Golden Gate Bridge and Fort Point
- Presidio with Ocean View
- Ocean Beach
- Golden Gate Park and Stowe Lake
- Inspiration Point
- Drive through Presidio
- Palace of Fine Arts
- Lombard Street
You can pick up your GoCar in Union Square or on Beach Street near Fisherman's Wharf. The fee is per person, based on two passengers per GoCar.
You will need the 3 hour tour to see everything and their is time to stop and take pictures. If it is a windy day dress warm! I would do this in every city that has the Go Car!!!!!!
It was fantastic. I loved the fact you did not have to stay on the GPS tour course. We made some side trips as we saw something interesting or had already seen something on the tour. One of the best parts was all of the waving between GoCar's and from people both walking and driving. We were even asked to be in other people's pictures. Glad we booked for 3 hours. One or even two hours would not have been enough time.
This was the best tour we did while we were in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun riding around in this little car and going to see the sites. Cyp was also a delight to work with.
This tour was amazing!
Make sure your GPS is working before you leave. Once we had the hang of it and were comfortable, this GoCar is the BEST thing we did during our 5 day stay in SFO. We have 2 kids; 17 and 14 and they said it was the best tour they have ever had over all the year's of vacations. I thought 3 hours would be too long but we could have done it for 8 hours and never been tired of it. Everyone was taking pictures of us and the Northern Beach Tour or Red line was GREAT.
We had a great time using the gocar! Perfect way to see a lot of the city hilights with ease and it was very informative!
Best fun ever! It's a bit cringey and everyone looks at you but such a laugh! We got stuck on a hill which was mega embrassing but fantastic if you fancy a giggle! We did the 2 hour tour which was enough but I'd recommend hiring the bigger engine car as was awfully slow on some hills. Brilliant fun!
