The scenery was beautiful. The problem was that this bike trip is not for novice riders, as I was. There are too many hills to ride up and I ended up having to walk the bike many times. It would have been better if I had used an electric bike, which I would have had I known it would be that difficult.

I could have done the same route on my own and wouldn't have made a lot of difference. The guide didn't bother to say anything about the places we visited and looked really bored. The time planning was not good, so we missed the nicest spot for photos (which was after crossing the bridge) as we had to hurry.

Our tour guide lost us on two occasions and we had no idea where to go to get the ferry. This caused us to stay in Sausalito for 3 hours waiting for the ferry since we needed a special token to board bicycles. I will NEVER ride or choose a tour with this company again and I DO NOT recommend to anyone.

Don't bother with the guided tour, just get a map and hire a bike from one of the many bike hire shops around town. Our guide seemed to have no interest or knowledge in the sites.
Guide seemed to be in a hurry and wasn't to worried about the slower members of the group and did nothing to ensure their safety. I would avoid this tour
