Enjoyed hearing the different tour guides information about different sites. Also found it a good way to get around!
Our guide Matt was AWESOME. Learned so much about the city, and he made the entire bus laugh. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone coming into the city. I hopped on and off from about 11am until 8:00pm, and it was fantastic.
HOHO is an excellent way to visit ANY city for the first time. They have changed the tour in recent years. It used to take you through the beautiful park with the "postcard" houses. Now they take you through other areas, returning through the Tenderloin area, you would never visit. If it is your first time in San Francisco, do take this tour. Remember to take a jacket and a scarf to hold down your hair while crossing the bridge. It is very windy ANY time of the year. The extra trip to Sausalito is worth it. It is included if you take the tour for two days. Go over around 10:30 and stay for lunch. A nice little town. Hope this helps.
Good for an overall feel of things you might want to investigate later
Guide was awesome! Got to see a a large span of San Fran, recomended to the time poor!
This tour was great! Not only did we see all of beautiful San Francisco, but our tour guide, Sep, was the best! He was very informative regarding the city and the history and had a fun personality! He really made the tour exciting and worth it. If you book with this tour bus, try and look for Sep!
I took this tour based on recommendation from my sister --- and I am glad we did. Our tour guide was DJ Paul and we are very glad we had him --- lots of laughter and music, which totally captures the essence of San Francisco. He was also very knowledgeable and gave us tips on where to eat/shop as well.
Great! our tour guide Seth was the best! Very funny and informative
The tour was good, the bus was convenient, clean, and way better than driving.
Whether you hopped on/of or stayed on for the entire duration of the route, this is by far, the best way to see, experience and learn a tidbit about the city in a short period of time. The guides were all FABULOUS … funny and interesting.
We LOVED this tour and would highly recommend doing this Hop-off-Hop-On bus tour in order to see the city. Misha, our tour guide was fun, funny and inclusive to all of the "guests" he had on his bus. He was knowledgeable about the city and helped us to decide where we wanted to hop off and explore. This was a GREAT choice for our visit! We wouldn't recommend riding this bus to get to a scheduled tour, though- the high volume of traffic in San Francisco is just too unpredictable for the driver to control the timing. Instead, take a full day (or two) and simply ride and hop off and on at a leisurely pace without any time-restrictions. We booked Muir Woods and Alcatraz separately and took the public bus for those.
