We had a great time! The tour was very informational, and it helped us get around effortlessly! My only suggestion would be to have buses running more frequently, but overall we had a wonderful experience.

Bus tour took us to the major points of interest in the San Francisco area. Had a very knowledgeable tour guide who added bits of humor to his itinerary, and even had time to answer questions for us. Was nice being able to hop on and off these buses to get around the city.

It was great. I always do a tour of the city whenever I'm visiting a new place. It's a great way to get to know the city.

Having to wait for a full hour for the next bus when we "hopped off" as way too long at some of the stops. Every half hour would have been much, much better!

After calling the day before and being told that we could get on in front of Pier 39, there was no signage or indication of where. We stood on the sidewalk waving frantically as the bus went past and did not slow up. We called the office and they returned for us about 45 minutes later. This made the bus so late that the driver was forced to speed and cut other stops short.

Did a ride-around the first day and went shopping at Union Square. On the second day, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on foot and caught the hop-on on the Marin side--VERY long wait, but one of the three buses they usually have running had broken down. Did a tour of the CA Academy of Science and, when done, were able to hop back on a few minutes later to return to point of origin. Enjoyed tour guides' commentaries on both days.

I wish the bus could have run more often so you don't have to wait too long for the next bus to take you to the next stop. The tour guides were very knowledgeable.

The buses were leaking making it cold and miserable. The microphone was not working and we felt we had wasted our money. We loved San Francisco but felt it would have have been far more enjoyable if the Hop on Hop on tours had been as good as the ones we have experienced in many countries throughout the world.

Not really a hop-on hop-off! I have used similar services in NY, London etc. You need to enable more stops! Tell your drivers to drive in such a way that people can take pictures! The guide should be giving his comments timely in respect to what the route really is and not 5 minutes before or just after. Maybe the issue for both of them was the time of the day. It seemed very much so as they tried to accelerate the whole thing in order to get home soon. The route you offer may be limited by traffic-regulations, but it makes really no sense to advise visitors several times that somewhere several 100 yards down a side-road, there is a specific point of interest and not run by it... The seats on the lower deck are simply too few and have no proper view! We have noticed tours by other operators vehicles that were clearly better focusing on their customers expectations
