We went right in once we figured out that we could go to a special desk for our entrance. Skipped all the lines. It worked perfectly and we will definitely use it again. The whole experience was wonderful.

Did not have to wait in long lines. We were able to see all the exhibits, shows except for the Bug Show. We weren't able to fit it into our schedule. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

I knew this place before the last year's remodeling and the reconstruction has made it absolutely fabulous.

I loved this experience at the Academy! There were many exhibits to see. The fish were so interesting.

Both my son and I loved the Academy - there was so much to do and see. It was also a treat to be able to walk through Golden Gate Park in order to access it - this was something I would not ordinarily do.

The new Academy of Sciences is just breathtaking. Food is really delicious and so many choices. My grandchildren were very interested in the Rain Forest and Planetarium as were my daughter and I. Great trip.

Brilliant! Really enjoyed the museum and the exhibits. No kids with us, that didn't matter. Recommend it, even if you're visiting from abroad like we were.

This was great! Our two kids loved it, even though the lines were long. We were able to skip the ticket line, which was helpful. But expect crowds since this museum and aquarium only recently re-opened. This is great if you have kids.

I've lived in San Francisco for more than 15 years, and the aquarium at the Academy of Sciences has been a longtime favorite. I was a little dubious when they closed it for renovations. Luckily the new facilities are amazing. The rain forest dome-walk is incredible, and big favorite with my 3-year-old. We didn't do the planetarium show, but I hear good things about it, too. One note on the skip-the-line tickets. These do let you skip the ticket line (which is long), but you must redeem your Viator voucher at a staffed podium right outside the main entrance. It has a sign for 'vouchers' written on it. It took no time at all to get our tickets, once I found the podium.

Really beautiful museum, excellent job on re-vitalizing the displays and exhibits. The only concern I had was the crowds! A victim of its own success, I suppose. While I've seen better Aquarium displays or selection of fish and animals, the Academy does such a marvelous job of pulling it all together you want to go back.

Although it allowed us to go to a different line, because of the fact that we got there early at 8:45, there was not much of a difference in line length. However, the reduced price was a blessing. The crowds there are horrendous - they should limit the amount of people that can get in at a time, especially the people with strollers!

The Academy of Sciences was great but quite crowded even on a weekday morning. Parking was good if you get there right when it opens. The lines to get in were long but not impossible to deal with.
