Really great tour to go on and enjoy the city and Alcatraz, very informative tour guide. Very enjoyable and informative.
I thought the price was a bit high. However, after taking the tour, I think it was well worth the money. The guide was excellent and enthusiastic. In addition to Alcatraz, we saw things that I would never had been able to do on my own. I would definitely recommend spending the and booking this tour. Would do it again.
Amazing tour. Art was very knowledgeable about San Francisco. A must-do for anyone visiting the city.
So, so pleased with this trip. We had Jamie as our driver and she was absolutely excellent. We met at Union Square at about 7.30am and were given a cereal bar whilst we started our sightseeing trip. Jamie was really funny and obviously extremely knowledgeable about the area. She dropped us at the Alactraz dock ready for us to catch the ferry about 9am. The ferry crossing was great, as was the audio tour of Alcatraz. As it was early in the day it wasn't too busy. It's such an interesting place with such fabulous views of the city. After the ferry crossing back to dock we met up with Jamie. She drove us down towards Pier 39 and we stopped to have a delicious lunch from Boudin bakery. She then took us over to the Golden Gate Bridge, lots of photo opportunities, then back to Union Square for about 3pm. It was a fantastic day and would highly recommend it to everyone
Our tour guide Jamie Jauffred was absolutely incredible! She made the entire day so much fun and I absolutely loved her attitude! I will definitely do this tour again and will make sure that Jamie is my tour guide!
Great tour had a wonderful tour guide Artorio loves his job and showing the sights of his city.New a lot about San Francisco and had a great personality.
The driver was excellent and although she was not a native Californian she was a wealth of knowledge of her adopted city and state it was enjoyable experience
I hope I spell her name correctly. Jamie and Betsy were AWESOME. I was worried my husband might be bored because of how long the tour was going to be however, we both had a great time. Jamie was very informative, helpful, enthusiastic, and accomodating. If anyone is considering this tour through Viator, you will not regret it. You get your money's worth and see a lot of San Francisco, besides Alcatraz, that you would normally not get to see on your own. We will be booking through Viator again.
We were the first to get on the Island as promised. It was not crowed and we could see everything. The tour guide was very informative and knew the city well. Great personality
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Jamie, was so excited to be with us and it was obvious that she did so much research on San Francisco to entertain us! She even stopped and bought a cupcake to celebrate one of our traveler's birthday! It is much more personal than the Hop On/Hop Off bus tour and worth the additional cost...especially the trip to Alcatraz!
A fantastic day, first boat to Alcatraz and some great inside information from our superb guide Arturo allowed us to be 4th in line for the tour. Lunch was great then the trip across the Golden Gate Bridge was brilliant even with the cheesy music!!!! A must for anyone visiting SF.
Altouro was an amazing guide, friendly and informative, helped with a small trick when visiting Alcatraz quick access and missed the hoards.. Highly recommended tour with the added Altouro style view on what's it's like to live in San Fransisco.
Wonderful tour. Highly recommend the early access. Well worth it! Beat all the crowds.
We went to SF for our sons 9th birthday. This tour was small, educational and fun for all. The antique trolley was a treat and some people thought they could jump o jump off like the old days however our informative and funny guide let them know we were on a private tour. He also helped everyone take photos and by following his advice on how to get into Alcatraz first, well we did. We really felt like we were in good hands and would highly recommend this tour!
An early start at 7:15 in Union Square was the beginning of this great day. First to be in Alcatraz - the audio tour was extremely easy to follow. Back to the mainland by noon with a boxed lunch from Boudin Bakery, which was wonderful. Eating outside on benches overlooking the bay, then back on the cable car/bus to see the rest of San Francisco. Our guide, Arturo, was funny, personable, and informative. Another must do!

Very informative day.
Wonderful time at Alcatraz and then touring San Francisco on an old motorised trolley tram.
time also looking at Golden Gate Bridge close up.
Overall Excellent Trip. Tour Guide was friendly, professional and knew alot about the area. The lunch from Boudin Bakery was amazing too.
Great being able to be one of the first up to Alcatraz and get the audio tour early without all the crowds - really good trip. Tour guide on the city tour following was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and didn't rush at all, making sure we saw everything around San Francisco. Plus a decent lunch! Would recommend.
Artour was our amazing host. We really could feel how passionate he is about the tour he was providing. We learned a lot about the city in a short amount of time. He was also hilarious pretty much all day. We had so much fun and really got see more than we expected. This tour is a must book tour
