This tour was really amazing
We were picked up from Union Square, driven across the Golden Gate Bridge to get to the helicopter
Mark, our pilot was great, very informative on the trips
Winery tasting also really great
The trip back was awesome
Just do this!
Fantastic experience, just as advertised, would highly recommend it. Short flight to/from Napa and a relaxed yummy lunch with complimenting wine samples. Pilot was very friendly and informative as were the staff at Jamieson Ranch.
My Partner and I had a great time on the trip through to Napa and time at the winery. It would have been great to have a little more time at the winery as it felt a little rushed but the wine and food pairings were excellent. The trip back and tour of the city via helicopter was fantastic as the fog had lifted a bit - so the golden gate bridge was 'up close and personal' as we went under and over it. Expert piloting and local knowledge from our pilot and bus driver as well.
This tour was amazing! The only thing I would change, is to have more time at the winery. The heli ride was so exciting and fun, the winery was beautiful and the lunch was delish!
The wine and lunch were both delicious and Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the quintessential Napa winery, but it was the helicopter to and from that made this tour unforgettable. A perfect way to spend an afternoon in the Bay, if you ask me.
Nice tour. Helicopter was awesome. Wish we would have flown over more of Napa, but winery was beautiful, and lunch was good. Worth the money.
Fantastic tour, easy to do, great food and wine, and flying under the Golden Gate bridge doesn't hurt.
We had a fabulous time!!!!! This was very worth it, a must do!!!!!!
Awesome day out. If you're going to go to Napa and you want to do something special and totally unique, this is the tour to do. Arriving at the winery in a helicopter was seriously cool and the wine tour and lunch were perfect. The flight over San Francisco on the way back was spectacular and the whole experience was flawless. I can highly recommend this tour.
This tour was unbelievable - pure luxury and perfection from beginning to end! After being picked up from our hotel, we were driven across the Golden Gate Bridge where our helicopter awaited us. The helicopter was beautiful and brand new. Then we were whisked away for a flight over the beautiful Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley where we then landed right in the vineyards of the winery! It was amazing! The winery tour host met us right upon landing, gave us a private vineyard and crush pad tour, followed by a private, sit-down wine tasting. Lunch was delicious and provided by the famous Oakville Grocery - there was so much food that we actually ended taking some back with us. Then on the way back, we did a great city tour in the helicopter, seeing Alcatraz and the skyline. Plus, they actually flew us UNDER the Golden Gate Bridge! Amazing! Overall, this tour was A+ and was an unforgettable experience.
This has been rated 4 star instead of 5 star because of the rushed visit at the winery.
The pilot allowed us one hour and this was not enough time-You need at least one and
a half hours.
A fantastic experience to fly under the Golden Gate bridge
Amazing helicopter trip, especially flying under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Winery was lovely, but we were in a back room and didn't get to see any of the vineyard (despite saying on the description that we would get a private tour) or any of the scenery, we could have been anywhere for lunch with wine.
Really great, helicopter ride over Golden Gate was amazing. Recommended!
We thought the Rutherford winery was almost a complete dud. Admittedly the bottling wasn't working, but the tour was weak. We were also very annoyed that the pilot was rushed. This part of the trip wasn't worth a farthing. We'd have liked to have seen just a bit more of the city on the return. But of course the loop under the Golden Gate was the highlight.
