The tour was wonderful. We saw white sided dolphins and humpback and gray whales. Viator did not tell us where to meet the tour so we did not know about their meeting place. Viator also did not tell us to take food or drink along as there was no snack bar. This is a 6 hour tour. These 2 pieces of information should be added to the Viator ticket page that is printed out. The captain and the tour guide are excellent. No concerns at all about the actual tour. would go again

Nice cruise, we had very calm water, and saw several whales. Weather was fine though a bit cold, but expected for October weather! The Captain and the 2 naturalists were very knowledgeable and made the cruise very enjoyable.

We had a great time on this Farallon Islands cruise – very eco-friendly, we had 2 naturalists on board and the captain was great at explaining the cruise. We saw a couple of humpbacks, a gray whale and got so lucky to see several mola mola fish! Even one jumped out, very cool! The water was the calmest I ever saw on the bay – do bring warm clothes as it does get cold out at sea, though the boat had inside seating where one could stay.

Highly recommend this tour. We only saw one whale from a distance though we went to the Farallon Islands which wasn't stated on the tour description.I plan to do this tour again as on other days they have seen many whale breaches and even Great White Sharks!! Captain Tom was great, as was his informative deck-hand, Victoria. Warning:Be sure to take travel sickness tablets if you've never been on a small boat on choppy waters.I was very ill for half the trip, however, I still loved the trip.

This whale watching tour was just amazing and I do recommend it to anybody! We saw wales, sea lions and Risso's Dolphines. Our whale watching guide and the captain were great, entertaining and made a lot of efforts to ensure us seeing those great animals.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful experience!

A wonderful Eco tour of San Francisco Bay. We saw a gray whale, several humpbacks, tons of birds and even the rare mola mola fish jumping out of the water! I really enjoyed getting to see the Farallon Islands. The boat was comfortable, with a great view for everyone, and we luckily had a really calm day at sea to enjoy the tour.

Excellent experience! We saw so many different kinds of whales and wildlife and the crew was knowledgeable and passionate. Seriously, they loved whales. We saw a blue whale and the crew was freaking out and jumping for joy. We also saw tons of humpback whales, which began breaching (jumping) towards the end of the tour, and one grey whale. It was amazing. On top of that we saw puffins, an albatross and sea lions. I would certainly do this again, just watch out for sea sickness as it can be a bumpy ride.

We did the whale watching tour in mid August and it was a great time. The crew was very knowledgeable and deeply cared about preserving as natural an environment as possible for the whales. We saw at least twenty whales and a few breeches. It can be quite cold even in the summer so I would recommend cold weather clothes and gloves as if your hands get wet, it can be quite uncomfortable. Also, even with knowledge of his phenomenon, and coming with a base tan from Las Vegas, I got a sunburn on my face on a day where there was a thick cloud cover. I would recommend facial sunscreen because you will pick up more sun than you are realizing.

Having never been on a whale watching expedition we were all completely thrilled to be surrounded by blue and humpback whales with the beautiful Farallones in the background. Our interpretive guide was informative and intent on sharing his knowledge as was our captain. We even had yellow slickers at hand for the chill. My only regret is that not one of my photos captured the magnificent animals....just the sea.

Was one of the calmest days of the year when we went. We saw Gray whales, Blue whales, Humpback whales, white sided dolphins, rizzo dolphins and puffin birds.

I enjoyed the tour and we did see whales, however, we didn't get close enough to see anything but a fin and the blow.

Unfortunately the day we scheduled the company had to cancel as insufficient people booked. The rescheduled trip had to be abandoned as the weather was too bad. Having said that the captain and crew were excellent and I'm sure the trip would have been tremendous in better weather.

It was a good experience. I wondered to see more whales than birds...but anyway...was a good day
