brilliant tour the crew and guides where top class anyone who wants a great day book this tour
It was a great trip. Jared, Ray and Jason were all fantastic. We only saw a bit of a whale, but saw a bunch of other sea animals and birds. It was totally worth it and I'd do it again anytime!
Excellent trip, saw 7 Humpback whales, took good 3 hours of searching before we saw a whale. But, well worth it. Crew were extremely friendly and informative, couldn't have asked for more. The area we went to was to shallow for Blue whales, but if looking for Humpbacks, couldn't wish for better.
The crew and naturalist were excellent. The whales and other wildlife were much more than cooperative. An amazingly safe, fun, and informative trip. One to be remembered.
Fun trip. Staff very nice and informative. Took a while to see whales but finely did.
We were fortunate enough to see multiple whales. Crews was WONDERFUL and INFORMATIVE!
What a great time. Not only where we excited to see the whales but the captain and crew where just as excited. They could not have been nicer.
We saw so many whales it was unbelievable. The crew was so kind and informative. They even provided blankets for those of us that didn't dress warm enough.
Very educational AND.fun. Our guide had a degree in environmental science and is a specialist on the bay.
United States of America
Incredible adventure !! The tour guide was exceptional and we were very lucky to see four humpbacks and one blue whale !! in addition to other fish and seals and several bird species including a rare tufted puffin !!.
We were extremely pleased with this tour.
We saw 5 humps, 1 blue, a giant sunfish (who ambled right up to our ship), seals, sea lions, dolphins and porpoises . Also many species of birds including tufted puffins.
Crew was fantastic, cheerful, knowledgeable and very eager to please.
Of all such trips this is a MUST DO!!!
INCREDIBLE!!! Courteou, friendly and knowledgeable crew on the Kitty Kat. Hope to go again someday. Fr. Pete's enthusiasm for his area of expertise is contagious. Great day on the bay.
The captain and crew were very knowledgable and friendly. We saw a lot of whales and other animals. They made it a point to go around the boat and talk to all of us.
We would recommend the trip very highly.
I had a great time, the staff was highly educated on all sea life, and everyone was very attentive. They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was ok. And we saw the first humpback whales of the season!
Fabulous trip and the crew was awesome. Safety consciousness was priority. Easy to talk to and we saw whales !
The trip was fantastic the crew was very knowledgable and informative. I have to say my knowledge of marine life increased tremendously. We were able to see a least 6 whale sightings among other marine life.
I highly recommend this trip.
Really enjoyed this tour. I'm a native of San Francisco but had never been to the Farallones, so this was a treat to book a local day trip. We lucked out with fabulous, clear weather, and relatively calm (given the normal roughness of the Pacific) waters. The guide was EXTREMELY informative about the islands, the wildlife, etc. We didn't see any whales that day, however, but it didn't matter, I enjoyed what I saw...although the tour company says that if you don't see whales, they'll let you go on another trip - you have to ask for that! (They're not going to just offer!)
This tour was amazing! We knew there was no guarantee that we would see whales however we Saw several whales even young ones. The view was amazing as well would definantly recommend
We saw many whales a learned a lot about nature, marine life
A must to do in San Francisco
It was a fantastic trip - we were lucky enough to see two whales breaching as well as tail slaps and spouting. Well worth doing, would recommend it to anyone! Boat crew and Ashley were brilliant
We had wanted to go whale watching for some time and this trip had everything. Having been on safari many times we know that you can't always get to see any animals, but we were lucky enough to see 8 humpback whales. The weather was glorious and fog free as we sailed under the golden gate bridge a great start to the day, and we hadn't gone much further before a whale was spotted - magnificent. The ecologist who accompanied us had lots of information and made us feel very special. Some of passengers did feel seasick and the advice to take pills was necessary. Altogether a brilliant day and one we will not forget.
The trips was one of the most amazing I've ever been on - the captain and crew went out of their way to make sure that we saw some amazing sites, and still respected the wildlife we saw. HIGHLY recommend!
