Excellent tour Saw loads of Dolphins but unfortunatly no whales.
Due to this we were given an openended ticket, until we do see some.
Long way to go back but will one day

Very good experience. Good guide, good captain. Viator could have said up front that there was no food provided and that there were snacks to buy on board and what kind. Viator people weren't helpful with retreaving my confirmation number but the actual staff on the boat were stellar.

Brilliant morning trip - friendly and knowledgable crew. Hard to photograph the whales that we saw but the Golden Gate Bridge was pretty stunning as it emerged from the early morning fog..

Wonderful trip. We had the privilege of seeing hump back whales under the Golden Gate Bridge - it was amazing! We had a super guide, Victoria, who was knowledgeable and very informative with her infectious enthusiasm. Joe, our captain, was brilliant and this was an experience of a lifetime. Thanks.

Our trip was delayed a bit from the start, but our marine biologist made things enjoyable and exciting. We didn't see too many whales, but we ended up making a pretty big loop looking for them. Getting up close to the Farallones was just incredible. I'd definitely do this tour again.

The tour was wonderful. We saw white sided dolphins and humpback and gray whales. Viator did not tell us where to meet the tour so we did not know about their meeting place. Viator also did not tell us to take food or drink along as there was no snack bar. This is a 6 hour tour. These 2 pieces of information should be added to the Viator ticket page that is printed out. The captain and the tour guide are excellent. No concerns at all about the actual tour. would go again

Highly recommend this tour. We only saw one whale from a distance though we went to the Farallon Islands which wasn't stated on the tour description.I plan to do this tour again as on other days they have seen many whale breaches and even Great White Sharks!! Captain Tom was great, as was his informative deck-hand, Victoria. Warning:Be sure to take travel sickness tablets if you've never been on a small boat on choppy waters.I was very ill for half the trip, however, I still loved the trip.

This whale watching tour was just amazing and I do recommend it to anybody! We saw wales, sea lions and Risso's Dolphines. Our whale watching guide and the captain were great, entertaining and made a lot of efforts to ensure us seeing those great animals.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful experience!

We did the whale watching tour in mid August and it was a great time. The crew was very knowledgeable and deeply cared about preserving as natural an environment as possible for the whales. We saw at least twenty whales and a few breeches. It can be quite cold even in the summer so I would recommend cold weather clothes and gloves as if your hands get wet, it can be quite uncomfortable. Also, even with knowledge of his phenomenon, and coming with a base tan from Las Vegas, I got a sunburn on my face on a day where there was a thick cloud cover. I would recommend facial sunscreen because you will pick up more sun than you are realizing.
