Really awesome tour, you get to different places, really great views, definitely a place where you want to spend more than one day, if you can I highly recommend it but have in mind that you'll be walking a lot, really great experience, I would definitely go back =D.

I can thoroughly recommend this 1 day trip to Yosemite - ideal if you are short on time. We were picked up from our hotel in the wharf area and after several more stops throughout the city we were on our way. Our driver, Paul was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us informed about the history of the area. We stopped at Oakdale for breakfast; there were numerous choices for food. The drive to Yosemite, although long, went incredibly fast due to the stories and information given by Paul. The photo stops in the park were spectacular and enough time to get some great shots. We were fortunate that there was still snow in the area, however the track to the giant sequoias was not safe so we didn't get to see the trees. We had about 3 hours in the valley on our own which we trekked one of the tracks recommended by Paul. The weather was sunny and clear on the day we went so we had great views from the vantage points. The trip back to SF was just as comfortable with a stop for dinner at Oakdale (can recommend the Mexican restaurant there) and then a short stop on Treasure Island for a photo opp of the lights of the city (breathtaking!). We were then dropped back to our hotel with memories of a fabulous day.

I went to Yosemite with Andy as my guide in March and had a fantastic trip. He was very knowledgeable. This trip is a must when visiting the San Francisco area. Yosemite is a beautiful place to visit, the day goes by so fast. One of my favorite days for my trip.

Though it's a trek from San Francisco and a long day, every minute is worth it!!
We had a great day at Yosemite with our guide, Ben. We began with the Giant Sequoias hike which was amazing! This was followed by a visit down to the park valley and we stopped at several viewpoints for some amazing photo shots.
We then had independent time during which most people visited Yosemite Falls.
On the way back, Ben even stopped at Treasure Island so we could get a view of San Francisco by night.
Well worth it!

This was the highlight of our trip,we absolutely loved Yosemite. Our guide Paul was full of information and a great character. We were unable to get up to the Giant Sequoias due to the snow but the beautiful scenery of Yosemite made up for our loss.

Didn't start well when our alarm failed to work and we were woken by a call from the front desk saying our tour guide was there! He (and the bus load of other tourists) was kind enough to wait while we threw on some clothes. It only got better from there! Tour guide was fun and informative, weather was great and sights fantastic. We saw snow on the ground from 3 days before, amazing waterfalls, wildlife, rock climbers... We made a detour on the way back over the Bay bridge to get a wonderful view of the city skyline from the island between the bridge spans. This is a long day but well worth it.

This was a really, really fun tour. My Mom and I were visiting San Francisco for four days and dedicated a whole day to this tour, and weren't disappointed.
Hugo was our guide. He was terrific - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and fun. The views were incredible, and we took some fantastic pictures.
My Mom walks with a cane, so I was a bit disappointed that she couldn't see any sequioa trees (you can only see them if you go for the hour long hike portion of the tour). She still had a blast, though, and Hugo was great about making sure she had what she needed.
I can imagine in crappy weather this would be a VERY long day, but we had clear blue skies and loved it. Highly recommend as a balance to the bustle of the city.

It is a long trip, but totally worth! I would just recommend stay for couple of hours more. It was a very short time spending in the park. I really recommend for those who enjoy nature.

It took a long time to get there, but the trip was well worth it. Beautiful waterfalls, snow, there were some little deers grazing in the area, our tour guide was informative and took us to some beautiful places. The information centre was excellent and a pleasant cafe to warm up in.

I am from New Zealand and recently went with my girlfriend in February 2013. Our tour guide/bus driver Ben (Extranomical Tours) was hillarious, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Yosemite is simply stunning. We hiked up to Columbia Point and got an amazing view of the Half dome etc. Well worth it!
