We loved our day trip to Manuel Antonio and the Pacific Ocean. It was a long, 13 hour day from San Jose but the route afforded us views of the country we wouldn't have seen and it was well worth it for our short stay in Costa Rica. The guide and driver were excellent - safe, friendly and accommodating. We saw crocodiles, iguanas, toucans, macaws, sloths, white faced monkeys (rascals on the beach-watch your stuff!), even a howler monkey. The temperature of the Pacific Ocean in April was as warm as bath water! Breakfast and lunch were also tasty. Bring your camera and/or binoculars and have fun!

The tour was incredible! Leli, our guide, was so wonderful! She even gave us extra time to spend at the beach. She was good at spotting animals too! We highly recommend this tour!

One of the most amazing trip ever and the guide was really professional and explained so much more than just what we were about to see!

Great to see animals and amazing to be on a beach which is secluded. My view on the beach was a beautiful rainforest vs. fratboys playing party like a rockstar in front of a giant hotel. Highly recommend this.

The tour was simply wonderful! We were picked up on time at our hotel. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, polite and patient. The bus was comfortable, the food breakfast and lunch was plentiful and delicious, and all of the facilities restaurants and restrooms were clean and comfortable. Our guide, Ricardo, did an excellent job of locating sloths, lizards and other wild life.

The trip I took was fantastic! The guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much information about Costa Rica. I left feeling like I knew a lot about the country. The food was great, and the experience was stellar. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

This trip was astonishingly beautiful in the diversity of the views. The park itself was beautiful, and the beaches were picture-card perfect! Being the rainy season, it did rain in the afternoon, but we spent this time having a delicious lunch. Unforgettable experience!

Absolutely brill trip.... a long travel but worth it, and of you only have 1 day to see the pacific coast then this is the best way to do it by far!
Only reason for not giving it 5 was that some of the people we took the trip with were really annoying - nothing that Viator could do but always worth remembering that you can't pay for the company you keep sometimes!

This tour was great. We had a very good time during our tour. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I was worried about Breakfast and lunch as we we're vegetarian but they have provided us good vegetarian food !! We saw so many wild life during this tour and no words to explain how beautiful the beach was....

I highly recommend this tour to anyone !!

A good way to see a lovely place from San Jose. One of the most lovely beaches I've ever seen. The tour guide was lovely and very bubbly and we were able to be dropped off in Manuel Antonio at the end of the trip rather than returning to San Jose which was handy. Unfortunantly a day trip leaving from San Jose only arrives at the park by mid morning so there are less animals and birds to see by that time of the day. I would recommend people visit the National Park by staying in Quepos or Manuel Antonio Town if they had the time, so that they could avoid the crowds later in the day.

We weren't impressed with our tour guide. This was the only Viator tour we took otherwise we went with others and they were amazing people!. Our guide slept most of the ride. We only saw about 2 animals while in the park. Other tour guides had to point them out. Other than getting to see the beach which was way too touristy it was kind of a waste of money honestly! We saw a lot more in the rainforest and other areas. When we exited the park, we had to walk an extra 30 minutes outside of the park to find the driver which was nowhere to be found. Then we had to wait for him to make a trip to the bank which he could have done in the 3 hours we were in the park!. Lunch wasn't very good. One girl didn't even eat any food because it was just blah. We ate our chicken only and left the rest. I would not recommend Viator for this tour. Maybe other companies are better! I'm not sure, but we were definitely disappointed.
