Admire the majestic and imposing crater of Poas Volcano at 1.7 miles (2,708 meters) high, and enjoy a magnificent view of the central valley. The crater is considered one of the greatest and largest in the world.
After admiring the national park, you will visit a typical restaurant for lunch, then continue to the town of Sarchi which is the artisan center of Costa Rica. Of particular interest here is to see the construction and painting of the typical oxcarts.
