The rainforest is beautiful. In fact, it was surprisingly so. But, the guide was fantastic. Tony is knowledgeable, funny, and thoughtful.
Loved this tour! Tony, our tour guide, was the best. Throughout the day he told us tons of information about PR in general and the rain forest. We made a couple stops in the forest for pictures and "hiked" one trail, but it was not a difficult trail at all. The forest is beautiful, but don't expect to see much wildlife beyond some geckos. If I ever go back to Puerto Rico I will absolutely to back to El Yunque.
The half day tour was perfect for us (my husband had knee replacement surgery a year ago) it was not a difficult hike/walk at all.
The kids had a lot of fun and learned alot as well.

My wife and I did the 1/2 day Rainforest tour during a quick escape 4-day weekend trip to San Juan. For us, it was an ideal tour. Tony, our driver and tour guide, did a great job! He was very personable, entertaining, and knowledgeable of the rainforest.
This tour offers an introduction of the park, highlighting some of the more easy-to-access attractions. If you're an outdoor adventurer or Survivor wannabee it may not be for you, but for us it was a perfect way to get out of San Juan city for a day and see some of the beauty of the island. If you're in San Juan for a long weekend, and especially if you're a first time visitor to Puerto Rico, I'd highly recommend the tour!

Tony, the tour guide was so personable and so knowledgable about Puerto Rico and the Rain Forest. I was reluctant to take the tour but after seeing all of nature and it's beauty,it was worth it. Awesome, awesome tour! Highly recommended, even for those like myself who don't like hiking. Seeing the rainforest is a spectacular experience!
It was worth every penny. Roberto, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and knew the good stops for nice pictures. The experience was awesome.

Never knew Puerto Rico had a rainforest...fascinating. I did the half-day tour and met up with some great people. Our guide, Ricardo, was a native and quite knowledgable. Beautiful and scenic. A real treat.
We found our tour guide Tony to be knowledgeable and entertaining. He as a passion for the rain forest and it showed in his narrations. I liked how the guides have a camaraderie and would joke with each other as they encounter one another on the tour route.
We would us this service again in the future based on the tour quality and our satisfaction level.
