Our trip was fantastic. Our tour guide, Francisco, was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and generally pleasant. The only thing I would say is that everyone on my tour was having a great time at the beach and it would have been nice to be able to stay a little longer, even if we had to pay a little more. But overall great trip and our tour guide was fantastic.
I wasn't able to go on this tour due to the road to El Yunque being closed to traffic because of heavy rains. Tina, the local tour director, offered me an alternative: going on a snorkeling catamaran cruise to barrier islands off of Fajardo. The cruise and snorkeling was fantastic! The food and crew were great! I was given the same rate as the original El Yunque tour so I got a $98 tour for 1/4 the cost. I then booked a half-day El Yunque tour which did go on as planned and was a great delight! The guide, Tony, was fun, full of fascinating information, and a good guy to hang out with! I was satisfied 100% with both my tours. I most definitely would go on future Viator Tours
Amo a Rick Ricardo he was our tour guy amazing, help us so much very patience, respectful, informative and a very good driver next time I will other tours because of him... Gracias Ricardo!
Tony was fantastic!! He is very knowledgeable about his island and the rainforest. He took us to a great little deli restaurant before we headed off to Luquillo Beach. The food was great and very reasonably priced. If you get the opportunity to spend the day with Tony, you will not be disappointed.
Wonderful Tour! Robert was a great tour guide and very informative. It was very interesting and we really learned alot about the culture of Puerto Rico. Enjoyed it very much and would hightly recommend it. Thanks Robert for a great day!
Robert was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgable and I would highly recommend the tour.
Our tour guide Robert was amazing. He was extremely informative, gave great insight into all the sights along the road, El Yunque and Lucillo Beach. He has us great tips, information on the local culture and made the tour even more enjoyable by adding a great sense of humor. Overall, our day was extremely enjoyable, especially thanks to Robert.
Again rainforest was really cool. Beach kinda sucked but I'm not a beach person and was glad when it got rained out. We also had Robert on this tour. He is really nice, funny and an all around great guy. Ask for him by name!!
The tour to rainforrest and beach was good.. Hector, our tour guide was great! He made the experience and the trip fun and fabulous! Thanks
This tour was great..very informative and the rain forest is amazing with its diversion in plants and trees!and luquillo beach was nice too..worth it to take this combined tour!
Family had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. There are free bathrooms despite what other reviewers are posting. Luquillo beach is beautiful. El Yunque is breathtaking.
Robert, our tour guide, was accommodating, informative and very pleasant. Luqiollo beach was not as exciting as we hoped and the lunch kiosk we went to was not very good. But I give the trip 4 stars because of Robert.
I really enjoyed this tour. The weather was not perfect. The rainforest lived up to its name and we encountered some pretty hard rain during part of this tour. But everyone seemed to take this in stride and it really didn't prevent us from enjoying the experience. There were four stops on the tour. The first was at the visitor center, which featured a small restaurant, a museum, and a film about the rainforest. The second stop was at a waterfall, which made a great photo stop. Some people chose to climb the rocks beside the falls, but that was optional. The third stop was at a higher level, where we did a brief hike, some of which was uphill. Nothing major, but this tour would not work for someone with physical limitations or mobility problems. (I understand there is an alternative tour with a much heavier hiking experience.) The last stop was at an obervation tower (98 steps up and also not for those with health or mobility issues). For those who did make it to the top, there were some fantastic views. We could see all the way to San Juan, despite the heavy cloud cover. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area and spoke very good English. He was was very friendly and happy to answer all of our questions. I would recommend this trip to those who want to explore the rainforest without having to drive. A minimum level of fitness would be required to enjoy this tour.
