Rocio and Carmen were fantastic- truly a full culture experience tour! HIstory, daily life, music, social trends and FOOD all rolled into one. I developed plantar fasciitis between booking and touring, so I was concerned. Much to my relief, walking distances were appropriate, rest stops and potty breaks were timely, We plan to go back in February and bring our son. Making our own mofongo was a fun experience! THanks!
What a fun time. Old San Juan is charming and interesting. Great way to experience it. Our tour guide had a great personality and was very knowledgeable. Food was delicious. We are so glad we booked this tour instead of the boring venues the cruise ship had to offer. Would recommend this to anyone.
Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The restaurants were wonderful. We really enjoyed the tour.
What a fun tour! We had a sampling of local cuisine, drinks and culture. The tour guide was interesting as we learned about Old San Juan and saw the highlights of the city. She was also very accommodating about food preferences. A great way to combine a tour with dinner!
This was excellent! I would highly recommend this tour. Good food and a fun way to learn some history. Victor our guide was terrific.
This was a great tour. Our tour guide was lovely and very informative about the 6 different restaurants we visited. She was also honest about the bathrooms. She made the tour great fun for all of us. She paid close attention to each of the individual needs of the group. She certainly went far beyond the tour with lots of useful information. My husband and I actually ran into her while we were out to dinner at one of the restaurant we had visited with her.
Our walking food tour around Old San Juan with the knowledgeable tour guide Rocio was fantastic. The food and drink was great and the company of the other walkers couldn't have been better. Rocio's pride in her home town of Old San Juan showed though as she described the sights along the way. Just a very pleasant evening!!
Great tour, enjoyed the food a lot-- would recommend to others
This was a good introduction to both Old San Juan and the food. Rosio was a fun guide who was extremely knowledgeable and made all of us feel very comfortable. We had the most amazing coffee that is grown and roasted locally. We had a lovely evening in town and the evening ended with the perfect coconut flan.
Had a great time and the food was excellent. Got a nice tour of the city by the way how the restaurants were laid out. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the city.
Took the evening tour and had a lot of fun. Our guide did an excellent job of telling about Puerto Rican food as well as a lot of history of Old San Juan as we went from one restaurant to another. I highly recommend this tour. Take an umbrella or rain poncho if it is cloudy.
After a full day of travel and quick checkin, my wife and I and another couple headed to Old San Juan to meet up with Flavors. They called just a few minutes prior to the start since we were running close to the departure time. Excellent overview of what to expect, fluent english and spanish. Had a great walk covering architecture, cuisine, beverages, island history. It was a full three hours on your feet but with short times to sit during some food stops. Gained a great appreciation for the history of the island. The knowledge and passion from our guide and the hospitality of the proprietors made the day. Loved the food and drinks. Plenty of food. Small group of 10 made it just the right size for everyone to hear clearly. Would recommend to anyone. Leslie was an outstanding guide!
Food was great. Guide told us not only about the food, but also about the history and architecture of the city. Fantastic. We learned where to buy authentic Puerto Rican food and gifts.
First, Rocio was amazing. Friendly, knowledgable, and fluent in both English and Spanish. We had a wonderful time and the choices for food and beverage tastings were perfect. The distance traveled between each stop isn't that far but there are some hills and brick roads in Old San Juan so bring comfortable walking shoes. It even rained on us a bit at the end, but that in no way dampened our experience. Our guide's interaction with all participants was excellent, and her in-depth knowledge and friendships with the staff at each location made this a very rewarding experience. The highlight of our trip to PR for sure. Thanks Flavors'.
