Carlos Medina was the best tour guide ever he was on time, concerned for our welfare and took excellent care of my mom was making sure the pace and sightseeing was exactly what we wanted his knowledge was so interesting and his car amazing very comfortable with leather seats, air and even a video screen he even had snacks and drinks for us!!!! Every one of our needs was met for beyond our expectations!!!!! He even takes pictures for you and then sends to you all free of charge!!!! He takes great pictures!!! You can not go wrong with Carlos, he will take very good care of you and you will have a wonderful tour of PR and learn many things most tourists don't get to see!!!!!
Took a tour of San Juan with Carlos and we had the best time. Very energetic and knowledgeable. My daughter and our friends all found the tour with Carlos to be truly enjoyable. It rained the day we took the tour and Carlos came fully prepared with rain ponchos and umbrellas. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.

Without question we were driven in the finest vehicle in San Juan. (seriously!) We have been on 13 cruises now and have always taken advantage of the ship's tour offerings as well as regularly hiring taxi's to provide these. If you have traveled this way you KNOW that these are generally done with large cumbersome buses (usually with inadequate air conditioning) and the obvious time constraints on your tour from having to load/unload large groups of people- and that the waits with older crowds for this can be quite long. Short of buses, small underpowered mini-vans are the norm on every island we've been to (25). After having been on a number of these I told my wife I was never again spending my vacation on a bus with poor views and a limited ability to get into the places their sheer size makes impossible. On Carlos tour we traveled in a full size AMERICAN custom Ford van, leather seats, a raised roof, GOOD A/C, drinks, snacks etc. Carlos gave a great tour and never let up on his running commentary except to answer questions. He even played a short video he had created regarding San Juan to show us additional things that time kept us from seeing.
If you've done your research in advance, Carlos will tailor his tour to meet your demands. Absolutely the best tour at the best price we've ever taken. I wouldn't even consider any other option after this and sadly know from experience, it's unlikely we'll ever top this tour for comfort, knowledge and the breadth of what we were shown in those hours.

Our tour was far more than we expected. Carlos was right there to greet us and showed us a wonderful time. He is very knowledgeable about his country and an extremely pleasant person. We heartily recommend your services.
We had been to San Juan on 2 previous cruises and were unsure what was left to do. I found Carlos through Viator and knew right away he would show us new places we hadn't seen. Carlos called as soon as our ship arrived and met us at the gate. He took us to San Cristobal fort where we took some beautiful pictures. We had an amazing lunch at Boronia En La Placita De Santurce where I ate Mofongo and had 2 great Mojitos made with Don Q rum. We also got the chance to visit the Butterfly People art gallery where I purchased 2 beautiful butterflies. I cannot say enough good things about Carlos and how comfortable he made us feel. If I ever go back to Puerto Rico I will definitely be calling him for another tour.

We had the good fortune recently to have booked a tour with Carlos Medina in Pureto Rico. We were returning from a Christmas/New Years cruise and had several hours layover before our plane left and didn't want it spend it sitting at the airport. We (my wife and two granddaughters and I) simply told Charlie (Carlos) that we knew nothing of San Juan and asked him to put something together for us. We suggested 3 or 4 hours. Suffice it to say Charlie went above and beyond. It proved to be a highlight of our entire trip. He spent an extra hour of his own time and gave us a great tour of all the usual sights in San Juan and then took us to some places we would never have discovered on our own or on a scheduled tour. He was extremely informative and took very good care of us. We have friends here who are discussing a vacation trip to Puerto Rico and we have already recommended him to them in the event they go ahead with their plans. We highly recommend him to anyone.
Carlos did an excellent job of taking our group to their preferred destinations. He was professional, timely and an all around nice guy. He is both engaging and knowledgeable about the island. We were more than pleased with his services and the price we paid. I would highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Puerto Rico.
