The tour was so awesome! Stu was the host with the mostess... if you are ever in Savannah a must see to add to your list.
We met Charlotte our tour guide at Rocks on the River. We had 13 in our tour. While we enjoyed our She-Crab soup Charlotte gave us interesting tidbits about the start of Savannah. From there we headed to Tondee's for Shrimp and Grits. Then on to B and D Burger's for Gator Slider's. Very interesting, taste's like tuna. We then visited Molly McPherson's for Cottage Pie, very cute Pub makes you think you are in Scotland. For dessert we stopped at Mabel's Cupcakes, yum!! We continued our tour all the while with Charlotte giving us history about Savannah and comedy. We stopped in The Salt Table for great flavor's and finished at the Savannah Bee Company where we learned about the different bee's and different types of Honey depending on where it comes from. Very interesting tour. Ton's of fun. I look forward to doing these type's of tours in more cities. Don't miss it. It was the best!!
It was a great tour!!! Really good way to see savannah and get some history. The places we went had a great food! Lauren, our tour guide was wonderful she made the tour very enjoyable. When I come to savannah again I will definitely do it again!!!
The food was fantastic and consisted of things that I wouldn't normally order for myself, which was great for expanding horizons. The history included along with the tour was much appreciated. This was a great way to see the city.
Very good tour! Brandon did an excellent job, I'd definitely recommend this tour.
My kids ages 13, 15 and 16 and I had a GREAT time on this tour. It was WELL worth the money. If this were offered in other cities, we would definitely do the tour in those cities as well. In fact, I'd be interested in learning how to start one in my home town of Fredericksburg, VA.
My teenage son and I did both tours East' and 'West'. It was a greag experience and we tasted food from resturaunts that we would have never had time to visit in one week/vacation. You must visit The Salt Table
Our guide had a good sense of humor and was knowledgeable about the culture and history. We had fun and learned a lot too.
Nice sampling of food and history. Guide was excellent.
Our culinary tour was part of a last minute anniversary get-away! It was WONDERFUL! The samplings were most delicious, the hosts were gracious, our guide was fun and knowledgeable and being in historic Savannah was the BEST! Hope there will be a tour II in the offing as we would love to do it again with other eateries. Kudos!!
