The tour was so awesome! Stu was the host with the mostess... if you are ever in Savannah a must see to add to your list.
We met Charlotte our tour guide at Rocks on the River. We had 13 in our tour. While we enjoyed our She-Crab soup Charlotte gave us interesting tidbits about the start of Savannah. From there we headed to Tondee's for Shrimp and Grits. Then on to B and D Burger's for Gator Slider's. Very interesting, taste's like tuna. We then visited Molly McPherson's for Cottage Pie, very cute Pub makes you think you are in Scotland. For dessert we stopped at Mabel's Cupcakes, yum!! We continued our tour all the while with Charlotte giving us history about Savannah and comedy. We stopped in The Salt Table for great flavor's and finished at the Savannah Bee Company where we learned about the different bee's and different types of Honey depending on where it comes from. Very interesting tour. Ton's of fun. I look forward to doing these type's of tours in more cities. Don't miss it. It was the best!!
It was a great tour!!! Really good way to see savannah and get some history. The places we went had a great food! Lauren, our tour guide was wonderful she made the tour very enjoyable. When I come to savannah again I will definitely do it again!!!
The food was fantastic and consisted of things that I wouldn't normally order for myself, which was great for expanding horizons. The history included along with the tour was much appreciated. This was a great way to see the city.
Very good tour! Brandon did an excellent job, I'd definitely recommend this tour.
My kids ages 13, 15 and 16 and I had a GREAT time on this tour. It was WELL worth the money. If this were offered in other cities, we would definitely do the tour in those cities as well. In fact, I'd be interested in learning how to start one in my home town of Fredericksburg, VA.
My teenage son and I did both tours East' and 'West'. It was a greag experience and we tasted food from resturaunts that we would have never had time to visit in one week/vacation. You must visit The Salt Table
Our guide had a good sense of humor and was knowledgeable about the culture and history. We had fun and learned a lot too.
Our culinary tour was part of a last minute anniversary get-away! It was WONDERFUL! The samplings were most delicious, the hosts were gracious, our guide was fun and knowledgeable and being in historic Savannah was the BEST! Hope there will be a tour II in the offing as we would love to do it again with other eateries. Kudos!!
Excellent! A highlight of our trip. Our guide was very informative. The restaurants and food was wonderful.
My husband and I enjoyed the tour. It was very well organized and the guide was very responsive to all our questions and comments. It was a delight to try new foods and places. I'm allergic to shellfish and arrangements were made to offer me other foods.
The guide was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited as well as Savannah history in general. The food stops were great-nice diversity. Would definitely recommend and do again!
This was our first culinary and cultural tour so I was a bit apprehensive. We only had half a day to learn and see as much as possible about Savannah, and have a fun time doing it. The tour exceeded our expectations. It was fun and educational. Food was excellent and gave us insight into local cuisine. Our tour guide was fabulous!
We loved our guide and thought it was a great way to get around Savannah! The amount of food you get is a bang for the buck! Enjoy the to-go drinks;-)
A most enjoyable way to experience the sights and tastes of the city! Our guide, Laura, was full of interesting facts and the restaurants and shops visited welcomed us warmly. We tasted foods for which the area is known and all was delicious. We will remember Savannah with pleasure!
This was the best tour I've been on, and it started in the pouring rain! My parents and I had a great time with Anna and her expansive knowledge of Savannah. We loved the shrimp and grits and the honey tasting at the end. This is a must-do for your first time in Savannah.
This tour is fantastic! The tour guide was knowledgeable and the food was fantastic! I live The Savannah Taste Experience! :)
Our family had a great time touring Savannah while sampling local cuisine at a variety of restaurants. Our tour guide was great!
This tour was really pretty great. I am lactose intolerant and they did everything they could to accommodate me at each stop; although lactose got misunderstood to be egg free and vegetarian in some cases. Our tour guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Savannah while being young and cool at the same time. Who knew an alligator burger would be so rich and tasty?
