Some tasting locations also provide beverages, and you can bring other non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (own expense) along on your tour.
You'll likely find that the various samples from your tour add up to a satisfying lunch. You will walk 1.5 miles (2.4 km) in Savannah's famous historic district during your 3-hour tour, with two rest breaks totaling 45 minutes. We had a wonderful time! Irene was everything you could want in a tour guide...fun, knowledgeable, friendly.
And the food! WOW! It's hard to choose a favorite, but the fried chicken at The Pirate's House is hard to beat!
A totally great experience! Thanks!
Charlotte was our guide and was full of information about Savannah. What my wife and I liked best was that we sampled places that we would never have found on our own. The tour of the city, packed with the history supplied by Charlotte, was a great way to get to know Savannah and experience the feel of the city.
The very knowledgeable tour guide was very engagingsharing history and trivia about Savannah as we walked to the various restaurants. All of the food was good and the restaurants were chosen to give participants a sampling of a variety of Savannah's food. Since my husband and I were only in Savannah for one day, we would have never sampled so many restaurants if we had not gone on this tour. We were grateful to hear about so much of Savannah's rich history. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.
We thoroughly enjoyed the taste tour. It was a highlight of our trip to Savannah. I have a friend who is going to Savannah in August, and I have highly recommended that she sign up for this tour...
Was wonderfully informing and great food. We all had a good time.
I would give this tour 5 stars. Irene, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the restaurants we attended along with much history on our walk around the squares. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour was fabulous, the food was incredible, and Sam, our tour guide was wonderful.
Lots of great food and history. Loved our guide.
