What You Can Expect
Great food and fun on this 3 hour tour of lovely Savannah. Lisa was a great guide who filled us in with history an ghost tales of this fantastic city. Pace was comfortable. Especially enjoyed the smoked salmon crostini at 17Hundred90 and the Commodore sandwich at Zunzi's.
Lauren was a personable and knowledgable guide. Come hungry! We enjoyed the tour and relaxed pace allowed time to visit with fellow tourists.
best tour ever.....the guide, Lisa, was very knowledgeable and the food was delicious.....can't say enough good things about the tour
The food tour is a great way to learn a lot about the history of Savannah and get a generous sample of some great restaraunts. Lauren is an excellent guide.
We took our tour on 3/9/16 and our guide was great! She was interactive with everyone and had a ton of knowledge about Savannah's history. We sampled food from five restaurants and all the portions were more than enough plus delicious. We did not leave hungry for sure. We loved walking through the squares and hearing the history as well as trying of Savannah's hidden treasures. I would highly recommend this tour. We do food tours wherever we travel and this one was one of the best.
Guide was very knowledgeable. Interesting way to see historic Savannah and get to try restaurants you may never otherwise have the chance to.
So glad we did this! There was a 'food orientation' to the tour, but certainly got some history and cultural background, as well. Great assortment of restaurants and cuisines with a friendly and knowledgeable guide Lauren. Definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed seeing a part of Savannah that wasn't on any other tour we went on. The food was varied and the walk was informative. There was even a mix-up with someone's reservations and it was handled easily with no fuss and they even handled my restricted food diet with advance notice. Of the 5 tours we went on this was definitely number one.
Lauren was a wonderful tour guide. The food was great, it was a nice pace eating and walking between sites and receiving history information between.
Our tour guide, Charlotte, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She paced the tour just right, and could answer all kinds of questions. The food on the tour was delicious and very varied. I thought the portions would be tiny, but they were huge! All the restaurants on the tour were very welcoming, as well. I would highly recommend this tour!
