Guide was great! Informative, entertaining, factual. Well worth the money.
I found the tour and the guide to be well-organized and very informative. If you are able, follow the advice of so many who say Savannah is a walking city. I feel like there were many things we were able to stop, appreciate and photograph because we were on foot.
The tour guide had remarkable knowledge of Savannah. He was so informative. It was a great waking tour
The guide was great and it was a very nice walk and a nice tour!
Phillip was an excellent guide. He was extremely well-informed, interesting, and incented me to learn even more about the beautiful and historic town of Savannah.
At first I didn't think this tour would work out--we wanted the general walking tour, and the other couple wanted the Civil War tour. But Phil, our excellent guide, combined the two, and it was great! Phil was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Andrew was our guide and he was a lot of fun for our quiet little group. He knew the history well and we learned a lot about beautiful Savannah. Great relaxing two hour tour.
We met up with Philip at Reynolds square to begin our tour. The weather that that day was challenging but Philip made it fun with his knowledge and humor. With lots of history and insights from our guide, we had a wonderful time in Savanna's historic district! Highly recommend!
It worked out that our party of four were the only people on our tour so we were able to ask our guide
many questions and he customized parts of the tour to meet our interests. Our guide was very pleasant
and very well informed about past and present Savannah. I highly recommend this tour
It was fantastic! Our guide - sorry, forgot his name - was so knowledgeable he could have been a Savannah history teacher. The tour lasts 90 minutes and worth every minute you are on your feet. We covered several blocks and learned much. I highly recommend the walking tour to see things up close and personal.
Orlando was a wonderful, informed guide who shared a wealth of information. Our group really enjoyed this tour.
Wonderful tour!!!!!! Mike, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and interesting in his description of Histortic Savannah.
I highly recommend this tour.
our guide was Mike , He was fantastic. There was another couple who had signed up for a Cival War walk so he combined our overview with their tour. since the civil war is a major part of Savannah's history I was not unhappy about that. We lucked out with a smaller tour and he had us rest a couple of times along the way and was very good about answering questions. I highly reccomend this tour for the first day of your trip to give you a good overview.

Very interesting! Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk briskly . . . it is not a stroll. You cover a lot of ground in a short time and you do not end up anywhere near where you started, so you have to walk back to your starting point. Our guide was discombobulated and felt rushed. But, the information offered was very interesting. We never would have understood the significance of the landmarks with just wallking around on our own. Enjoy!
This was a pleasant, relaxing way to stroll the area and learn about its history! Not only was our tour guide very knowledgeable he was able to gear the trip to our particular interests. We were so impressed that he waited patiently for us while we struggled with parking problems--2 different kiosks we tried were out of order! Ack! We were stressing about being late! Yet our guide helped us take a deep breath, and let that all go, once we met up with him. He did not cut the tour short rather he stayed past our agreed upon time!
Very enjoyable tour and guide. She was very knowledgeable and was a local, which made for some great stories.
Good guide and a comprehensive overview of Savannah's historic district.
Our guide, Phil, was very knowledgeable and interesting in his facts of the city. He was on the dry side and lacked enthusiam or humor. I wanted to learn about Savannah and I did, so in that aspect, it was a good tour. Great? No.

I wish this tour had been better organized. Our info was to meet our tour guide at one park, and after calling, we found out we were to meet him at a park three blocks away, which was closer to him and he would get there sooner. We parked closer to the first park. I wish I had thought twice about taking a summertime afternoon walking tour, it was hot. Should have chosen a horse drawn trolley tour, but not sure we could have asked questions. There was a lot of walking and no information given between stops. In all fairness my husband was able to keep up better and stayed engaged more. Viator has been my go to, but feel I need to do more research next time. We were the only clients on this tour and that may have made a difference.
Regrettably, there was only two of us on the tour which meant the guide seemed to hurry through the walk and missed a number of the places I thought we would cover. Still interesting and guide was very pleasant.
The tour was not nearly as good as previous reviews. Our guide shared too much personal information and personal opinions e.g., Paula Dean was wronged. The tour just travels up one street and fails to give you an overview of the city. We ended up taking a trolley tour to actually see and learn about old Savannah.
