we have thoroughly enjoyed our trip. thank you to our driver cum guide....Al. :D
Here is my post on Tripadvisor.com: Just completed a phenomenal 3-day Highlands Tour through Viator. The spectacular views by themselves are well worth the price of the trip. However, what made our tour even more special was our incredible driver Ross. He claims he is not a historian, but the remarkable manner in which he depicts stories of the Highlands is a splendid tribute to his homeland. Not only did he make sure all of his passangers were comfortable, but beyond that he created an unforgettable slideshow of the trip and will be emailing his professional quality photographs to all of us. This was the perfect way to see Scotland!
It's a wonderful tour! One of the best tour companies in Scotland! Neist point Lighthouse is a
must-see place in Isle of Skye. 超讚的tour！
We loved our tour guide, Pete! The scenery was AMAZING! We highly highly recommend this tour!
My daughter and I took this tour in late winter so not a lot was in bloom. However, we had the most perfect blue skies, blustery days, very little rain, and a tiny bit of flurries!
Our tour guide was Liam, he was fantastic! We are hoping to take this tour again when she graduates and the family can join us.
We had a wonterful time. David a perfect group leader. Thank you.
Great tour! The guide was fun and told us lots of Scottish history and legends for all the places we visited. I regret deciding to stay in Portree instead of stick with the tour on day two since the afternoon of day two includes the Neist lighthouse and Dunvegan castle.
It was an amazing tour, special thanks to our turguide Peter his knowledge was incredible and we learnt a lot. Weather was terrible but he did his best to make this tour great.
Our guides were so approachable, friendly and very knowledgeable.
This trip made our entire holiday - it was completely brilliant, we were taken to so many different, incredible places, the guide was out of this world. Genuinely, I can't recommend this trip enough.
Completely breathtaking and brilliant - this tour was the highlight of our entire trip.
This was extraordinary - above and beyond anything I expected
Thank you so much
The tour was great and our tour guide was wonderful! Steven was well prepared, organized, and mostly funny. He kept up the good vibes and was also very knowledgeable about the area. You can really see his passions and love for his country and it was really inspiring. The scenic stops were beautiful!
It was marvellous, but a bit rushed at times, relaxed at others. We were hurried along by the hurricane from Newfoundland. That resulted in wild weather to add to the atmosphere. Local food was great, similarly a good pint of local beer. The scenery was spectacular and gorgeous. I missed only one opportunity to exit the bus to get outside, horizontal rain did not deter me or the others on the bus. The bus was clean and comfortable, the driver knowledgeable and informative.
What a wonderful experience! Everything was wonderful from the beautiful landscape to the informative guides. We not only saw the highlands, the Isle of Skye and all the signature sights, there were stories told by the guides to help us understand the history of the country. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
This tour was fabulous. We were lucky enough to have great weather the day we spend in Skye which allowed a perfect tour of the beautiful northern part of the island. Our guide was the highpoint of the tour: Stevie D'Sylva. He was super organized so that we had no problems with any logistics and very accommodating (he offered to pick people up or drop them, when the B and Bs where we stayed were a little too far out of town for some people to walk) and he had terrific stories. It was wonderful to learn so much about the history of Scotland, and all in a very entertaining, interesting way. Stevie also had great stories about the fairies and took us to a beautiful spot outside the town of Uig which indeed looked like a fairy paradise. I can't recommend this tour enough - what a great introduction to Scotland!
I really enjoyed the tour of the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Our guide, Peter, was very informative and had a wonderful story-telling technique. He drove the bus expertly while telling us stories and discussing what we were going to see. He made a special effort to get us into a whiskey distillery for a tasting. When the electricity was out on Skye the evening we were to arrive, he arranged for us to have dinner on the mainland before driving over. I learned a great deal about the Highlands and Skye on the tour. I will definitely take a Rabbies tour again.
