It was a great tour. It was a cold and rainy day but it was worth the soaking wet shoes. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody.
Great tour! We actually ended up with a personalized tour since no one else signed up. Our guide was informative and customized the tour for us. It was also a beautiful, sunny day. Can't recommend this tour company enough.
Small group, perfect weather and we had enough time for all activities!
Excellent day with a fantastic young guide. The castle at St. Andrews was very interesting, particularly the underground tunnel.
Really enjoyed this tour. We actually flew up from London just for the day to do this tour. Our fingers were crossed that there would be no delays as we only had a very short timeframe to commence the tour in Edinburugh from landing at the airport. Little village of Fife just gorgeous only a short time spent there, but most of the day spent at St Andrews and wandering and admiring the golf course on our own. Husband was very happy we got to St Andrews, had lunch at the golf course and it was a fantastic busy long day and we would do it again.
Great day tour, and plenty of time in St Andrews to see the Castle, Cathedral and Old Course.
Excellent day out, shellby our guide made it fun and interesting.
I would highly recommend viator and would book another trip on my next visit to Scotland.
A wonderful day trip. Well worth your time and money. A comfortable mini van ride and a very knowledgable guide.
We enjoyed our St Andrews with Rabbies so much that we booked another day trip while we were in Glasgow (Highlands and Whiskey tour). The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had entertaining stories throughout the trip. The highlight for us was the Old Course and we spent most of our time in St Andrews at the golf course. It was a Sunday so we could wonder all over the course and even take pictures in the bunkers.
Our Rabbie Tour was fantastic, our driver Dave was very knowledgeable and hilarious. Great way to spend a
day touring the coast of Scotland getting a feel for their beautiful countryside which holds so much history.
We would definitely travel with Rabbie again, clean, courteous and reasonable. Thanks for a memorable day!
Ally, our guide, was informative, funny, and delightful. our day perfect. Thanks for the Experience.
Everything we anticipated exceeded our expectations. Tour guide Shelby was superb. All golf enthusiasts should go to the hallowed grounds of St. Andrews once in their lifetime. Excellent day trip.
Excellent trip! Tour guide Emily was the best! Highly recommend it.
The tour was excellent. Our tour guide ( Jamie Smith) was excellent. Had a great time and would recommend highly!
Very nice trip. We were in a van that held 12 people, very comfortable with a driver and guide. The guide was very informative and lots of fun. Gave us plenty of time to tour St. Andrews and gave us two places to meet for those of us who wanted to tour the golf course. Very relaxing, so glad we did not have to drive those narrow roads. Driver did a great job.
Loved our trip and our guide was so great! Highly recommend this trip!
The St Andrews and Fife Kingdom excursion is a wonderful one-day adventure, and one not to miss! After leaving Edinburgh, we traveled over the Forth River and drove the valleys and coastline of the Kingdom of Fife. We stopped at several quaint and ancient fishing villages in the area and walked along the seaside, visiting the shops and even enjoy some of the regional tastes of the area. Our guide, Gillian, was a wealth of information as we traveled along the way and she was so delightful. St Andrews is the focus of the trip and we had 3 hours to explore the town. Our drop off point was at the Old Course of St Andrews and if you love golf, this is one place you need to visit! We walked the area, took pictures in front of the Old Club House and enjoyed watching the golfers tee off. From here, it is a short walk to the ancient Castle and Cathedral and both are amazing. Traveling back to Edinburgh in the afternoon, we stopped by the town of Falkland, which is a backdrop for many movies and TV series. Here, we walked the streets with quaint old English homes and saw the ancient Palace. It is a delightful day trip from Edinburgh.
The St Andrews and Fife tour was absolutely fabulous. The small coach (16 people) was perfect . Barney our guide was not only knowledgable, but very funny. The stops in small picturesque seaside towns were you could have tea and scones by the water or a glass of wine or beer in a town square was great. The trip to and from St Andrews was every bit as good as the visit to this historic golfing village. This is a must see must do tour.
We really enjoyed this tour...especially St. Andrews. The tour company provided three full hours at this location which was great for viewing the castle, cathedral and still time for lunch at the golf course. However, if we had gone to St. Andrews first, we could have participated in the Tues. morning Old Course tour.
Well, another thing off the bucket list. It was a great tour and Michael, our tour guide, was wonderful. Gave us a wonderful history of Scotland and even current events while being neutral about the whole thing. St. Andrews was great. I could not believe he drove the van across the 1st and 18th fairways!!! It truly is a "public course." Got a great picture at the bridge. Yes you can do it!!! But please just use common sense and not interfere with the golfers. We got ours while the group on the tee box was waiting for the group ahead of them to clear. But after that, just when they were ready to tee off, another couple walked over to the bridge to take a picture! Not good! BTW, for 1 pound, you can putt on a putting green next the first hole. Found that out from other reviewers. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thanks Michael.
Excellent trip to the Kingdom of Fife.Small group(16) of great people who were all very nice.
\We had plenty of time to explore all the small villages. The highlight was the stop at St Andrews where we visited for three hours. Since it was Sunday the Old Course was closed so you could walk the course and stand on the bridge at 18th. All the other courses were open and so was the New Club house. The Town was was great and lunch was perfect at Dunvegan pub.
None of this would have been possible without our driver/guide Peter. He was very detailed and full of local info and stories. I miss him already and hope to have him on another tour.Well done!
