This was a nice change of pace! Small group with local person really into providing information and answering questions. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys history and scenic off the main highway type traveling.
I caught an early ferry from Seattle so I could walk around Brainbridge before the tour started and walked the waterfront trail which was a very pleasant stroll through the backgrounds of the quaint little village. I would highly recommend doing that either before or after the tour. The tour was very enjoyable; lots of history about the island and the Kitsap Peninsula. We visited the Squamish Museum and learned how the locals are dealing with today’s environment. Jean Boyle, the tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge about the area and the inhabitants both past and present. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on our own in Poulbos a beautiful Norwegian style village with many boutique type shops to visit. Our afternoon wound down with a walk around Port Orchard, a Company owned Lumber town from the late 1800s. A quaint village with beautifully restored New England style homes. Bottom line it was a day well spent and well worth the cost of the trip.
Fantastic tour! Our guides (i'm terrible and cannot remember their names) were so knowledgeable and lovely. Bainbridge Is and the Kitsap Peninsula are beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour.
A great way to see Bainbridge Island without the hassle of driving yourself. Nice mix of historic and new attractions. Both tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable about the area. Eat at the Loft!
strongly recommend this tour. Tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. We liked this tour.
the tour is wonderful. Jim and his wife, the owners of Kitsap tours, are lovely. Poulsbo is great, and port gamble is fascinating. And, at the end, you stay in wislow, with lots of shopping and places to eat. I enjoyed too much.
Great trip. Great guides. Really nice van!. We saw and learned so much more than if we had gone on our own
A very good tour of Bainbridge island by a wonderful retired couple. The weather wasn't fantastic for us (it is Seatttle) so we were a bit wet and miserable by the end. Make sure you get the 16:35 back to the city as it lights up before your very eyes.
Very good tour considering Gay parade that a.m. and tour could not get through to hotel for some time. However, we had an acceptable tour, esp. appreciated the tour of the locks. Was not able to visit the space needle due to the parade. This was reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The tour probably should have been canceled this date.
For a couple of hours, I learned so many interesting facts. It made me appreciate the place more because of the valuable information given during the tour.
What a beautiful island! The tour guides were terrific and knowledgable!
Quite interesting but really not that much to see and could have been shorter. Husband and wife operate the tour. They were very good. Can't quite see why we took a long walk along a rather boring beach. Some very nice scenery but unfortunately we did not see much of it due to fog.
I had a great time On Bainbridge Island! The tour guides were very good. And I got nice history lesson on the history of Seattle.Keep up the good work Viator!
