Why Our Insiders Chose This Tour
Capitol Hill is an eclectic neighborhood with a food scene that matches. Not only do you get to taste awesome food, but your tour guide is super informative about Capitol Hill's history and culture.
What You Can Expect
Is it wrong to start with dessert? Of course not. Begin this Capitol Hill food tour at Cupcake Royale, the city’s first cupcake bakery and café. Try the homemade ice cream and varied selection of cupcakes.
Then it’s off to Eltana Wood-Fired Bagel Café. The cooks here roll bagels and flatbreads by hand and cook them in a wood-fire oven. The result? Montreal wood-fired bagels with incredible homemade spreads. Try one or try a few. They also have local micro-roasted coffee from Biowilly’s Beans.
Just a block away is a restaurant called Manhattan, a casual-chic steakhouse with Southern touches and a bar converted from an apothecary shelf. Devour delicious shrimp ’n’ grits paired with a handcrafted daiquiri. Visit Marination Station for spicy pork tacos with a Korean twist and Soi Restaurant for an exotic Thai offering with crispy, marinated rice and pork.
Capitol Cider is a multilevel tavern with 30 rotating ciders on tap. Soak up the vintage vibe, play some games and by all means, taste some cider.
Start with dessert, end with dessert? Absolutely. The final stop is Old School Frozen Custard, offering three flavors of frozen custard — vanilla bean, chocolate and the flavor of the day — served in cones or cups and blended with a choice of mix-ins, if desired.
Great food, very information and excellent guide!! I highly recommend this tour was a lot of food - my husband loved it!!!
It was great fun. Harriet was awesome and fun, the food was yummy!!!!! Only complaint was the starting point address was not clear. But, Harriet called us and found us. Very fun! We left in a food coma.
Food and drinks were great.
Our guide was very knowledgeable.
Only problem was trying to figure out the first meeting place. It wasn't
listed on the tickets. So we just went to first food place and found the guide.
All and all it was very nice and would recommend it to other people.
I have taken food tours all over the world and this was very good.
What a perfect start to our visit to Seattle. Our guide was outstanding and the foods were delicious! A real must do tour.
It was amazing! We had delicious food and a fun guide. Thanks Kyla for a great evening!
THE BEST TOUR IN SEATTLE,EXCELLENT GUIDE
excellent choice of restaurant stops. Guide was very informative and enthusiastic. He made sure we all had a great time and suggested more places to visit in Capitol Hill which we did.
For what it and #39;s worth, the food was good, the guide a little annoying, but what really made me mad was that the advertised 15 tastings was really only 6 !!!!!!!! That and #39;s a huge difference in what the description promises.
