The trip was great! The price is super affordable and we get to see a lot of whales! The only downside is not being able to look at the whale closer, but that is because of the law.

It was an awesome day! I would do it again in a heartbeat. The only suggestion I would make is to make the stop in Friday Harbor just a little longer. Again, I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

Great tour for the money. We had perfect weather and saw an orca pod with 7 members within 15 minutes of starting the tour.

the trip is long, but we knew about that.
The crew travelled about one hour more, close to victoria, so as that we could see the whales, and was a lot of them. We spend few time in Friday Harbor, that is lovely, but sure was a great choice

We unluckily had one of those trips were the whales were on vacation. But, I still enjoyed myself - the clam chowder was tasty, "runnin the waves" after the cruise ships was fun, the naturalist spoke, but not too much (thank you)... The island was a nice escape after being on the boat for so many hours. Overall, I would suggest this particular trip - hopefully when the whales return :)

Great trip despite the weather. . . It was a bit rainy and a little cold but the trip was great. The company is very organized and punctual. The ride was comfortable and narrated.by a naturalist. They use the same boat for the whale watching so you don't have to get off until your return to Friday Harbor. They have great connections to know where whales have been sighted and we zeroed in and went directly to see Orcas. It was a great experience. The bathrooms on board are decent for boat bathrooms. and are also clean!! They also have good snack options that are fairly reasonably priced. My only suggestion is to print your voucher-I tried to do the electronic version and that didn't go as smoothly as if I had printed it. Overall a very enjoyable day!!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Ship was delayed an hour so each passenger received a 50% off coupon for a future trip. Saw a pod of orcas, bald eagles, porpoises and seals!

This is by far the easiest way to see Orcas and visit Friday Harbor from Seattle. The boat picks you up right from the Downtown Seattle docks and takes you non-stop to the San Juans. There is a Naturalist onboard who points out all the things to see along the way. After a brief stop in Friday Harbor, a smaller group continues on the Whale and Sealife tour. We were able to get on the bow of the ship (very cool!) and watch the Orcas swim right by us. The Naturalist knew each Orca’s name – we saw Ruffles, Double Stuff, Oreo and others…all from the J-pod of local Orcas. On the way back, you spend 2 hours in Friday Harbor where you can visit the Whale Museum and pick-up an early dinner to go – check out the Market Café or The Hungry Clam, both on A Street. On the trip back to Seattle, you get great views of Downtown Seattle. Make sure to bring sunglasses, a jacket and a well charged camera for photos.

The trip to the San Juan Islands from Seattle to Friday Harbor was truly a five star experience! The cruise there and back was very comfortable. We were able to view Orcas for quite some time allowing for lots of great photo ops. The naturalist, Stephanie's commentary was very informative and a great addition to the whole experience. Had no idea that the individual whales and their pods would be so well known to the tour guides and that they have been given names! Thanks for a wonderful day!
