We had the most wonderful day, the tour guide was amazing, the scenery was beautiful beyond description. Would do this tour again.
Love this tour and my tour guide. I went alone and still met some new friends. First time to Mount Ranier. It was pure Heaven. Wish we had a lil more time to hike but the trip was fun. From seeing lil towns, waterfalls, lodges, learning about history of Ranier, and to Paradise! Time to buy lunch too
We had a wonderful day even though it was raining a lot and we were unable to see Mt Rainer.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant and made the trip fun....thanks!
Breathtaking views ! We were blessed with a gorgeous day and wonderful driver/guide.
Such a wonderful day! My sister and I had enjoyed the 3 previous days in Seattle but were looking forward to our Mt. Rainier tour just for something different. And boy, did we get it! Starting with our guide, Will, who made sure we were all comfortable and was a great source of information about Seattle as well as Mt. Rainier. Thanks for him making frequent stops to stretch our legs, use "facilities," and enjoy the spectacular views. Despite warnings of impending rain, the day was glorious! Sun drenched and pleasant temperature meant every view of the mountain was spectacular--starting with the distant views we first got from the bus as we rode along the highway as we headed out. Will was fun, informative, efficient, and helpful. Thanks for that. The size of the group was perfect for moving along and having people to chat with. The difficulty of walks and access was perfect for 2 women "of an age" who have dicey knees. We would not hesitate to use Viatour for another tour. And, how did you manage the perfect weather for our Mt. Rainier visit, anyway?
It was a really wonderful tour! nice weather, great viewing, and professional guilder
This trip was very interesting and useful for me. We were lucky with weather, the guide was interesting and knowledgeable. I like going to such trips to explore nearby areas.
Great tour guide and I know we lucked out with the weather but the scenery and Mt. Rainier were magnificent.
This was a great day in September, really hot and the views were spectacular. We were lucky enough to get the owner as driver and tour guide, it was his first time out there this year and he was brilliant, stopping frequently around the park for us to take awesome photo's.
The stop on the way back was well timed as a Huckleberry ice cream certainly cooled us down and it was one of the best I have eaten.
This tour is worth it, I would highly recommend to all.
Excellent tour...driver/guide very knowledgeable, very professional and very personable...makes sure everyone is introduced as they enter the tour bus and that makes the tour much more personable...stops at all the right places for vistas, waterfall and views of the mountain...the only drawback was I wish we had more time at Paradise to hike the trails...we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes and I think 2 hours would be best...overall great day!
This tour is fantastic! The tour guide was fun and friendly and told us a lot of interesting facts about Mount Rainier and Seattle. I met really nice people on the tour and we all had a fun day. I'm not much of a hiker and was worried that it might be more than I could handle, but the hikes to the waterfalls were easy and there were pathways that were very easy to hike from Paradise. And you could choose what you did/didn't do. The views were amazing and I highly recommend this tour.
The full day at Mt. Rainier was a great experience. We had ample time to explore the area around Paradise. We explored a short trail and the historic lodge, and had a light lunch. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to be with. The other short stops provided views of the mountain and canyons from a number of angles. Wapiti Woolies was a nice afternoon break. Happily the weather cooperated. A very pleasant day.
Very nice tour. Tour guide was very helpful and knowlegeable about the area
We had a very good time. The weather was disappointing but the forest/mountain was great. Chris, our guide, was funny and very informative. I give him an A+. Maybe next time nature will cooperate.
Very nice tour. Highly recommend. The right amount of walk for me, not to tired. The guide is super good too.
It was wonderful!!! It was a beautiful day. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of history and background on everything! A day we will never forget!
Very easy to set up; convenient; Very friendly and informative
Would recommend and use again
We were picked up at our hotel on time. Our driver/tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun to travel with. The weather was perfect! We had time for short hikes to a waterfall and to a scenic vista as well as an optional 45" to one hour hike (for those who wanted to take it) at the visitor center. The lodge and the ranger station were nice places to visit for those who didn't want to hike. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
My experience on this tour was great from beginning to end. Our tour guide, Will, couldn't have been friendlier. He was very informative with interesting information on Seattle and Mt. Rainier NP. Our trip was a bit delayed by a problem with one of the windows, and we had to spend extra time waiting at Paradise Inn for that to be resolved. Will brought out binoculars and a telescope so we could see the people summiting the mountain. As a thank you for our patience, he treated us all to ice cream at Wapit Woolies. Yes, I am now a fan of Huckeberry ice cream! Another nice touch to the tour was the option of buying lunch at Safeway instead of spending a lot of money at Paradise Inn. I thought the whole tour was excellent and very customer friendly. This is my 2nd tour with Viator and I have nothing but good things to say.
This trip was brilliant. The tour guide was helpful and full of information, not just about Mt Rainier but about Seattle and the surrounding suburbs. Brilliant photo opportunities and great little hikes. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the beauty of Mt Rainier without the camping!!
