Discover the best of Bainbridge Island on a small-group tour with no more than 12 people. You have the flexibility to make your own way to Bainbridge Island aboard the Seattle Ferry when you wish (own expense; it is recommended you catch the 1:10pm ferry from Seattle to make the 2pm tour start time, or go earlier to enjoy the island on your own before the tour). The scenic ferry lasts a swift 35 minutes, although you may wish it was longer so you can admire more of the wonderful views of Seattle and Puget Sound.
Your tour starts when your guide picks you up at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal and takes you first to the quaint town of Winslow, known for its myriad of boutiques, restaurants, museums and wine-tasting rooms. You’ll have time at the end of the tour to explore more here.
Back on your luxury minibus, circle the island and stop at some of the local attractions. Stops include the Bay Hay and Feed store, a country general store and garden center and the new Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, which commemorates the first Japanese community forced into internment during WWII.
Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of the Olympic Mountains, Cascade Mountains, the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound. At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the ferry terminal. Make your own way back to Seattle by ferry when you’re ready!
