Had no idea there were so many wineries in Washington. Wish you had been able to pick us up in Sea-Tac. Not knowing the area, we hired transportation in at a cost of 20 each but rode the train back out.
Very informative and fun tour. Our guide was very knowledgable as well. Well done!
excellent information and our tour guide Barb was amazing - very knowledgeable - had a wonderful time visiting the three wineries
Barbra Joseph was knowledgeable and took us to three boutique wineries. Great wine. Beautiful afternoon.
great time.picked up at hotel at designated time.very knowledgeable tour guide.visited a very diversified group of wineries.all in all an enjoyable afternoon.
This trip was fantastic! Very intimate as we only shared the tour with one other couple.
Barbara and Mitch are the best!!!
It was much different than I imagined as we saw 3 distinctly opposing wineries. Each unique to their own standards and none of them let us down.
We learned more about wine in one day than I have acquired my whole life.
Highly recommend this tour.
We have taken many wine tours in different parts of the country. This tour was excellant. The guide made this trip an A plus. Would highly recommend this outing to anyone.
Great guide, excellent wineries. Had a brilliant afternoon.
Great that food and water was included! Kirsten was very knowledgable about wine making in WA and great for recommending things for us to do after our tour in the Seattle area.
We enjoyed the personal service at the first and third locations. The 2nd location had a great host but not so personal.
Excellent. Well planned and executed. Everyone involved super nice. Wineries and wine were enjoyed by all.
A wine tour where you are picked up at your door, provided with lots of good background and history of wine in WA, along with some great wine and even some snacks... What's not to like?
We had an absolutely fabulous tour with Cara, who was passionate and enthusiastic, and very generous with her knowledge. We visited a great mix of wineries and returned home fully stocked with wine and great stories. We would recommend the tour without hesitation for both local (we live in Seattle) and visitors (we did this tour with visiting family).
Fantastic tour! We were taken to three wineries in Woodinville which were welcoming of our 10 person tour group. We took the tour so we could enjoy wine tasting without the concern of driving in unfamiliar territory. The local wine industry hosts over 100 wineries, making it almost impossible to choose among them, so appreciated the three included that day. The tour guide was excellent -- very personable and knowledgeable of Washington's wine industry. Good value for the money. Highly recommend the tour!
My sister and I had a marvelous time! We were very comfortable in the Mercedes SUV. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines. Thank you, Jeff! You were great!
I highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I had a wonderful time and our tour guide was wonderful.
My Husband and I had a great day!! I loved how knowledgeable our tour guide was about the area and the different vineyards she took us too! Thank-you so much!
Dan, our guide, was great, he was a wealth of knowledge and made the excursion very enjoyable.
The wine tour was fantastic. It’s a short 30 minute ride from downtown Seattle, which means the majority of the time is spent at the wineries and tasting rooms. The wine is very good, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Well worth it!
Amazing! The wineries were wonderful, the tour director was great, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We were all loaded by the time we got back to our hotels. I highly recommend this. We've been home a month now and enjoying the wine we had sent to us!!
We loved this experience! The tour leader was both knowledgable and personable and the four wineries we visited were terrific. We enjoyed the six other people on our tour and highly recommend this tour to others. Our only disappointment was in joining a wine club at one of the sites and learning later that they could not ship to our home state of NC. We are currently looking for alternate ways to purchase that particular vineyards products.
What a fun afternoon! We visited quite a few venues ranging from small tasting rooms to larger venues with wide bars and outdoor seating - perfect for sunny days! Pourings are very generous and the range of wines on offer was impressive. Small group was great as allowed us to mingle with our fellow wine enthusiasts.
This makes for a great half-day trip with a difference from Seattle! Rather than being a traditional wine-growing area like Napa or Margaret River, Woodinville is a place where wine-makers from the mountains gather to trade their stock, given its close proximity to the city. This makes for smaller, more intimate venues and we enjoyed visiting 4 venues in total and tasting the delicious Washington wines on offer. Snacks were plentiful too and our friendly guide supplied us with a tasty cheese and salami platter during our longest stop. He also gave us a useful insight into the geology of the Washington state and how it lends itself to wine production, which was extremely interesting. Highly recommended for wine enthusiasts and those looking or a few relaxed afternoon drinks out of the city!
We had a bit of a snag getting out to the area due to road closures which caused the tour to go an hour long since we essentially started an hour late at the first winery. The Sprinter was very comfortable and our driver was great and added a 4th winery to our tour because of poor service at the 3rd winery we visited, Kestrel. All in all a great tour and value for the money.
The tour guide, the mercedes-benz van and the group we travelled with were great! The area near JM Cellars Winery was truly picturesque. I really enjoyed the wine, snacks and vibe at JM Cellars. However, the 2 wineries inside warehouses I did not find to be memorable. The wine wasnt that good and there were no vineyards to speak of. The last winery at Hollywood Hills was in a nice cottage with outdoor seating; the vibe was relaxed and we were outdoors on a beautiful sunny day. I would recommend to not include the wineries inside the warehouses on this tour. Overall fun times! Can't wait for my next winery hopping adventure.
