Tour with Ride on the Vintage Grand Canyon Railway
Your first stop is the train depot in Williams, Arizona. Here, you will board the historic, century-old Grand Canyon Railway. Be entertained by cowboy characters and enjoy the tunes of strolling musicians as train travel from the early 1900's is recreated during the scenic 65-mile journey to the canyon. The train offers wonderful views of the San Francisco Peaks and rolls through the valleys filled in wild flowers, dense pine forests, high desert plains and small canyons. Grand Canyon Railway is still one of the best ways left to experience the old west. The train arrives just steps from the Grand Canyon's South Rim. When you arrive at the park you will have free time to have lunch, shop for souvenirs and take in the amazing views. Then, your guide will meet you in the bus to continue the tour. Choose from Coach Class or First Class. Coach Class offers bench seats, ceiling fans and soft drinks. First Class features reclining seats, air-conditioning and a continental breakfast.

Great West Tours trip from Sedona was outstanding for our tour on March 22, 2016 but I recommend future users deal directly with Great West google them to take advantage of their direct discount deals the owner Bob answers the phone himself and was very accommodating. David our tour guide and driver was very personable and had great knowledge of the area, the history and his dual college degrees made him exceptional for facts and myths. He made sure we had plenty of water and snacks for the day and ensured we knew when our next stop for rest rooms and purchases would take place. Although the approximately 16 seat bus was not sedan comfortable we weren't on dirt roads and David made sure our temperature needs were met. Of course the scenery, especially the canyon itself were spectacular. The stop at the IMAX theater for the movie about the history of the Canyon was very educational and fun. As I added up the amount it would have cost for individual items included in the tour cost IMAX, gas, admission fee to the park, Great West gift post cards of paintings of the canyon, and a full meal at the cafeteria style restaurant the price was reasonable. Watching visitors who drove themselves to the park try to find a parking spot at the various locations proved to me that the tour was the way to go.
Great trip. The scenery was beautiful. I appreciated the science and history information given by the guide. I would definitely do it again.
Great day great. Tour guide Allen was amazing.
This tour was the best tour we have ever taken. It was totally worth the money. Our guide Lynn was exceptional. Pickup and drop off times from our hotel were exactly what we were told they would be. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!
The tour was very informative through the whole trip. Our driver was very courteous and knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience to let someone else do the driving to the Grand Canyon?
Great Tour! Our driver was so knowledgeable! Lunch was very good.
What a breathtaking and great experience. Allen, our Tour Guide, was so professional, knowledgeable, fun and made the experience even more exciting. I definitely though the tour was well worth the time and money.
What an awesome day. The tour company was a local operator. Our tour guide Joe was very informative. His knowledge of the area, geology, history and spot to see was great. He had a good sense of humor and made the trip special for all of us.
I have already reviewed this trip. I spent a half hour writing the review. Then when I went to submit the review, a very positive and detailed review, the screen went to a log on screen and all my review was gone. I figured I had spent enough time trying to detail our wonderful day, from 7am until 7pm, with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Lynn Sine. She really knew where the best views and areas of the entire tour could give our group of 10 the best of everything.
