Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Cordoba Day Trip from Seville Including Skip-the-Line Entrance to Cordoba Mosque and Optional Tour of Carmona. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
One of the "must see" - mezquita of cordoba . Our guide ,Alicia, from Andalus tour took very good care of us. She made sure we understood he history of the place and its surroundings.
Our tour to Cordoba was really interesting. Our tour guide was Silvia. She was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. We really enjoyed the day! I must add that Andalsur Excursions as a company must improve it's game. They moved and did not inform us of the new location prior to our departure for Spain. They also did not return my e-mails that I sent to ehm prior to our trip. Silvia made the difference for us and the day itself was very good. Again Silvia was the saving factor, as she was terrific!
The driver was outstanding. The guide was very knowlegeable and friendly.
Our guide for this tour was incredible! Just to think that you are standing in a place that was built in the second century and continued with Muslim, Roman and Christian control truly reminded me that God loves and created ALL of us. Beautiful!
Cordoba Mosque is very much worth seeing. It is beautiful and unique, a mix between Catholics and Muslim. The local guide tour could be better if headsets and receivers are provided. It is not easy to hear every thing the guide says, especially when he switches between Spanish and English. You will not be able to take pictures and listen at the same time due to this fact. You will miss either the explanation or the pictures since the tour keeps on constantly moving.
Good tour, if you want to see both places the same day. The guides knew their history. Only recommendation is to do Carmona in the morning, since the town is a ghost town in the afternoon. The mesquita is amazing. Our guide Clara was very helpfull and kind.
Sylvia, our guide, was very good. Charming and very helpful. We were disappointed with the tour of the "famous" flowering patios as we saw very little of them. Our guide at the Mosque, David, was excellent and very well informed. He made the whole tour very interesting.
the tour was very nice but our tour guide was frustrating... he was giving wrong info about Islam at that time and giving missing info about Muslims as well, i left the group and i did the tour alone using the map
The tour is worth going to. The tour guide in Cordoba very informative and good. The accompanying guide could have been better. In future tour could infform us about weather and even provide umbrellas.
The tour is fine but it has to be clear before taking it that the cost of the visit to Carmona is not included in the original price. You have to pay 11 euros extra in the bus. Our tour guide did not explain it at the begining of the tour but until we got to the place. Our guide spoke very bad English
The logistics were good but the bilingual guide's English was difficlt to understand. Also, he gave english tourists the condensed version. I timed one explanation and the spanish commentary was 3:30 while it was only 2:15 in english.
The bus ride was comfortable, and the local tour guide was helpful to answer all the questions around Seville. Since the guide for Mosque and Alcazar tour had to speak in Spanish and English for the group, the group had become so big that it's difficult to hear what he said sometime. Wish to have more free time at Cordoba for shopping before getting back to Seville.
Mesquita at Cordoba is certainly fantastic but unfortunately from Seville it is a waste as you spend too much time and money going to cordoba and back
