Very interesting although after the tour we only had enough time for lunch. Would have liked an extra hour to browse. Guide was excellent with a good sense of humor.
This was a great day trip from Seville. Our guide, Pakki, was one of the most knowledgable and helpful guides I have experienced. She helped make it s great day. Córdoba is fascinating and the great mosque is a wonder of the ages. We loved the day.
Cordoba was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip through Spain and our Viator tour enabled us to see its highlights in one day. The tour began with our on time pick up in Seville and within 90 minutes, including one rest stop on the way ( which we thought was unnecessary ) we arrived in Cordoba. And yes there was no commentary on the way but with an early morning pick up most folks we snoozing.
Our 1st visit was to the Alcazar, which in our opinion, is not as impressive as it's counterpart in Seville so we found it dull and uninteresting. From there we took a walk through the Jewish Quarter and the Street of Flowers ( not to be missed) and then the highlight of the tour - the Mesquita. Based on previous comments Viator seems to have listen to its clients complaints. Our guide Carmen was knowledgeable, thoughtful and only gave the tour in English. And while we were initially put off by the size of the tour - we picked up 10 folks in Cordoba in addition to the 20-24 we arrived on the bus with - Carmen did an outstanding job of herding us through the sites. So bottom line - take the Viator if you don't want the hassle of driving/parking yourself and you do want a well paced, informative tour of a most beautiful mosque/cathedral.
Amazing, must-see locations. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly.
Cordoba is all about the Cathedral and its beauty. The Alcazar is not half as beautiful as the Alcazar in Sevilla. Our "free time" was late in the day and we were all hungry and thirsty. The bus trip was not bad 1.5 hours from Sevilla.
Very interesting tout with an excellent guide. A day trip from Seville to Cordoba is a must for anyone with more than a couple of days in Seville.
This was the highlight of the trip, or one of the top. I highly recommend taking a look at the Mesquita.
This tour delivered everything as promised in a well-organized way. Cordoba was beautiful. I just wonder why they couldn't have two guides for English and French instead of one for such a large group.
Tour began on time and was well organized. Guide was wonderful and informative. Also had a good sense of humor. The sites were wonderful, particularly the mosque converted to a cathedral.
Great guide in Cordoba. She(Carmen) was very knowledgeable. Tour sites were very interesting and the Mesquita is unique. Would recommend this tour if you only have limited time.
This tour was one heck of an experience. Paki the tour guide was phenomenal. She was intricately familiar with the history, culture and background of Cordoba and injected humor and interesting innuendoes from time to time to keep the long tour from becoming mundane. She spent a lot of time with both the Spanish and English speaking part of the audience. We had a little bit of a misstep catching the bus in the morning but that was easily overcome by the manner in which the whole tour was delivered. We were given time to shop and have lunch at the end which was delayed till about 2:30 PM. This would be our only recommendation to advance the lunch to around 1:00 PM and have a portion of the tour immediately following lunch versus packing it all in in the first 4-5 hours. Overall excellent tour barring the minor logistical things. Drive time from Seville to Cordoba is about 90 minutes one way in a very comfortable Mercedes Tour bus. Highly recommend the tour if Paki is the tour guide.
