What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
We liked it. Well organized, the guide was knowledgeable and funny. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit cold and we didn't take an optional trip. But still, we enjoyed our day in Granada.
If you go to Spain you have to Visit Alhambra, Seville is the Second best place to get to this magnificent place (#1 would be Granada, which is also beautiful), whatever you do in Spain, dont forget to go to Alhambra!
Endure the 3 hour ride and you will be rewarded by one of the most magnificent sights of the ancient world! The duration of the tour itself is of the correct length., although you have to be prepared for the early pick up at Seville and returning back after dark. The option walking tour of Albacyn is also very nice. only her you can see the full view of the Alhambra from afar. Would recommend tourists to take this optional portion
Fantastic tour ever! Very patient and informative guide made the journey enjoyable. Loved everything in Granada and during the trip.
Silvia was an excellent guide: from the punctual 6:00AM pick-up to her very well-informed insight as to Andalucia and its history on the way to Granada in multiple languages, I was nothing but impressed. The buses to and from were both modern and clean and there is absolutely no room for bad feedback.
I was initially concerned about the long drive, but the tour was smooth from start to finish! Had enough time to enjoy Granada with extremely knowledgable tour guides. Just make sure to be courteous to your your guide and fellow travelers, nothing more sour than a bad attitude
The tour was very good and Manuel our Driver was super professional and help us during the trip
We went on this tour with Carlos. He was new as a tour guide, but went out of his way to make the day great!
His company Andalsur Excurciones have some issues to correct. The tour of Alhambra Palace is a must and we enjoyed the day.
Perfect all day tour! Carlos picked us up promptly at 6:10 a.m. Nice tourist rest stop with good coffee and pastries. Excellent three-hour tour of the Alhambra. Breathtaking! Our guide transported us to another time. Lunch in the Albaicin. Beautiful views overlooking Granada. Be prepared to walk a lot.
I highly recommend this tour! Everything was perfect, from the pick-up to the bus to the guides. Our guide on the bus was Silvia, who gave information about everything possible on the way including history, geography and even the flamenco! She handed us over to Gustavo at the Alhambra, who was also absolutely wonderful. Perfect English combined with a passion for the Alhambra. All in all a perfect day. Only thing negative is that there was no discount for over 60s on the website.
The following day we took a day trip to Cordoba with another company. What a difference! We booked it at the tourist office beside the cathedral and it was claimed to be a 9 hr trip. What they didn't say was that the bus was so old and slow it was being overtaken by everybody! There was no guide on the bus so we got no information about Cordoba or other places on the way. The guide at the mesquita had 3 language groups (the viator trip had one guide per language), so we had to wait til she got through (flew through) the other languages. She went so fast it was hard to follow, esp. with the accent. We did not enjoy Cordoba as a result, and it made us realize how lucky we had been the day before with the Viator tour. The difference in price was very little, but there was no comparison between what we got on the Granada tour compared to the Cordoba one.
Must do it. Enjoied the trip from abroading the bus till getting off. The bus guide Silvia was great in all manners. The guide within the AlHambra was profissional as well. We should have spent more time in Ghranata after the tour. But consider the trip time which was three hours.
Well-organized. The trip leader Silvia was very friendly, and our guide was great. The Alhambra tour was quite a bit to take in, so we decided not to opt for the optional Albaicin trip.
