Loved it. What and impressive place! Well worth the long bus ride from Seville. Our bus guide was wonderful and seamlessly changed from English to French to Spanish. Amazing!

Excellent day trip and superb tour guide (Clara). Tour guide was very informative and fun at the same time and very enthusiastic on the Albaicin walking tour.
Not over impressed with the tour operator, Andalsur. We called in at the tour office near the Cathedral in Seville to confirm our arrangements and we felt they had no time for us but the actual tour turned out to be excellent.

We overslept our tour and they were extremely helpful in letting us meet up with them later and do the second part (Albaycín) as well as scheduling a later Alhambra entrance and guide for us. Even though we had a small SNAFU the staff was very helpful in making sure we still got to go on our tour. They offered to put us on the same tour the next day at no cost, but unfortunately we did not have enough days in Seville.

The Alhambra Palace is probably the most beautiful place we've been to. The guide Marco - is entertaining and really professional. We enjoyed listening to his accounts about this spectacular place. The best part of this tour was having lunch at AlBaicin - the Moorish quarters - We ate at the restaurant with the most magical view of the Alhambra - even if all memories are erased from our minds, this view will remain. Highly recommended.

The company took excellent care of us, starting with email confirming pick up time in the morning, providing us with pick up service at the hotel and in Granada. After the Alhambra tour a separate guide was provided to tour the Albacin even though we were the only ones who chose that option!

the tour was exceptional but making the albicin (optional tour) early in the morning then el Hambra was something extremely stupid as we had to wait in the street for 3 hours waiting for the rest of the group!! apart el Hambra was super and our guide was fantastic

The Alhambra tour was overall very enjoyable. Initially we had some difficulty confirming hotel pickup but this was eventually solved with a quick phone call to confirm. Andalsur Excursiones, the tour company, phoned my hotel with the pickup time and they were able to pass on the message in time. The tour guide met us on time and we were off to Granada, with a rest stop in between for breakfast. Grace, our guide, was prepped with maps and information on the way to Granada and she was very pleasant and friendly. We were met with another guide in the Alhambra--Antonio, a very dedicated expert on the history of the palace and gardens. Both guides gave us recommendations for restaurants for lunch. Unfortunately, we only had an hour for lunch (because we waited 30+ minutes for another tour member), which meant we didn't have any time to explore the city. We didn't opt for the Albaicin walking tour--I don't think there would have been time anyway. Overall we had a great time. Initially I thought of booking bus tickets and Alhambra tickets myself, but I was happy that I had booked this tour, since it provided a hassle-free and convenient package without having have to book things separately.

Tour good. Granada 's Alhambra palace is fantastic but would really need a whole days tour to do it justice. Tour guide in Alhambra good.

This day trip from Seville was fantastic. Although about a 2.5 hour drive both ways, we loved seeing the scenery of rural Spain with the beautiful farm estates, olive trees and mountains on our way to Granada. The Alhambra is breathtaking. It is such a magical place with an amazing blend of Moorish and Spanish influence with gorgeous views and beautiful details to every square inch of the grounds. We were there on Good Friday, which our guide said was basically the busiest day of the year for the Alhambra. Although there were lots of people, at no point did it take away from my enjoyment of the tour. I was also happy to have skip the line entrance as the line-up was huge to get in. I also felt so happy to have had a guide as it made it a much richer experience than if we had just walked around taking pictures of things that looked pretty- we actually understood and appreciated the history and detail. Our time there was appropriate; as the palace guide broadcasted over headphones it was easy to take pictures as he talked. We loved our general company tour guide, Grace, who was very warm and knowledgeable. (She handed us off to an official guide for the Alhambra and then met us at the end to take us back to the Albaicin). Our only complaint was that there was some miscommunication between a few people and the company so we ended up waiting an extra hour in Seville for them to get on the bus. This made our time in the Albaicin very short in order for us to arrive back to Seville in time, with basically just an hour to grab some lunch and wander for an hour. I'd almost recommend bringing a bag lunch to eat on the bus so that your time in the Albaicin is maximized. Otherwise it was an amazing experience and a "must-see" when in Spain. Carve out the time to go there- you won't regret it!
