Wonderful,this is definitely a destination where you need a guid, and the guide provided by Viator was so informative and helpful. You are given free time before the guided tour, so you get best of both worlds.
This trip was well-worth the money. To see the Alhambra in all its gorgeousness was a treat. This landmark is extremely popular in Spain so make sure to get your tickets ahead of time. The drive from Seville is somewhat long, but an iPod or reading material should hold you over. Also, the tour guide does stop about half way through for food and bathroom breaks. My only gripe would be that this is a guided tour through the Alhambra and your time is bound to the guide's tour so there really isn't time to explore the fortress and ground on your own. Make sure you stay with your guide too or you might get left behind. The driver of the tour bus is on a strict time table to arrive and leave Granada.
Our trip to the Alhambra was wonderful. Quite a long ride, but a comfortable one. It would have been nice if the person who was our trip coordinator was able to give some information about the south of Spain., etc. Not 3 hours but 30 minutes would have been nice. Alhambra guide was spectacular! Wouldn't miss this!
The 3-hour journey each way to the Alhambra was totally worth it - beautiful architecture and amazing history. It's a must!

Excellent tour, informed guide, much enjoyed
The trip was well organised, the group was small and the coach bus quite comfortable. We awaited our guide quite long in Alhambra, but once he showed up, his comment proved to be very interesting and professional.

It was a fantastic trip, we realy enjoyed there
We were promptly picked up on time at 7 a.m by the agent from a convenient location near our hotel. The drive on the coach was comfortable with a short break at the half way point. At Granada, we were instructed on how to take a public bus to a scenic spot to view the Alhambra from far. It was a fairly long break so we had lunch at that spot. We returned to the meeting point and were taken to the Alhambra where we were met by our guide, a lady who was excellent.She spoke good English and was well informed about Spanish history and Culture. We toured the beautiful Generalife gardens and later took the special entrance for tour groups to visit the Alhambra which helped us avoid the long lines. The tour was very interesting and we walked quite a lot. We were quite tired after the long day and slept on the bus on the way back to Sevilla. We returned around 8:30 pm.
Excellent -great guide, bus and the drive, even weather contributed for a memrable trip.
