What You Can Expect
Tapas bars here are typically crowded, but that’s all part of the fun! Jostle for space with locals and follow the tapas etiquette of your guide: sharing, finger-using and generally getting stuck in the food. The dishes served each afternoon will vary, but you can expect a selection of food ranging from niche regional specialties to all-time Spanish classics.
Wolf down dishes like sizzling gambas (prawns), succulent oxtail, locally cured hams and refreshing gazpacho – a chilled soup made from the ripest of tomatoes. Treat your taste buds with bacalao – a delicately dried and salted cod (tasting infinitely better than it sounds) – and devour Spanish favorites like paella. All dishes are complemented with local wine, sherry and crisp Spanish beer like Cruzcampo and San Miguel.
Complete your tapas circuit of Seville at two more bars, continuing your afternoon of camaraderie and fine food. Your tour finishes at the third bar, leaving you perfectly placed to carry on eating your way around Seville should you wish.
Dario was an excellent guide and had some very interesting insights regarding Sevilla and its history. The food and drinks were excellent and the service at each location was very friendly and prompt. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!
The tour was excellent value and the guide was very knowledgeble an good fun the tapas bars were all completely different
And we would throughly recommend the tour
We will be using Viator again in the near future
First off I have to say I was super pleased with the company as a whole. I accidentally booked the tour for the wrong day, and didn't realize it until I received an email stating that the guide waited for 30 minutes on us. However, the owner?, CEO? person in charge was very nice about it and let us re-schedule, free of cost, for the correct day.
As for the tour itself, that was also a blast. The guide was knowledgable about Seville gastronomics, the various wine regions of Spain and generally good company. We went to three tapas restaurants and he also pointed out fun little things about the city as we walked. I would definately recommend!
We loved the whole experience
where to start? by Dario's amazing personality? the food woowww, the wine another great woowww. perfect. everything was just perfect. Dario picked us up at the hotel and took us to some fantastic places, continuing our "educational" tour of Seville . i recommend it to everyone, and am sure to do it again if we ever return to beautiful enchanting Seville
Really enjoyable evening and very nice food. Only visited three different bars, four would have been good to give a little more variety.
Visited three different tapas bars boosted by stories about Seville. Both could have been better. However the guide seemed preoccupied with costs, got bored towards the end, sped everything up and left 15 minutes early.
Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Seville and Tapas. We would give him 5 stars. However, the food was not gourmet tapas in any sense of the word. Just a little better than average. The price for this tour was way too high for the level of food/establishments that were included. This was not the guide's fault. He is told by the company where to take people... This tour should have cost half what we paid...
The tour wasn't as we had expected. Firstly the guide of late and then it turned out he was Italian, when a local guide was promised. He picked tapas that he liked rather than asking us which ones we preferred. All in all it was ok, but definitely could have been better. The guide kept going off to take calls as well which wasn't very professional
